There are no red bugs, no black coins, no "extra difficulty" mode, and most levels won't be rendered impossible to complete if you do things in the wrong order. But guess what? This still manages to be the hardest Cursed House game ever! The 110 levels are going to make you work to pick up all those coins to remove the curse from this house. If you've played even a few of the earlier games in the series, you should be able to figure out how all the gadgets work, but finding the "aha" moment requires some thinking outside the box in many cases so you can't just coast with doing what you're used to doing. As usual, there are plenty of minigames interspersed between the M3-puzzle fusion levels. I lost count of how many total there were, but many of them are push-the-box Sokoban type games, of which there are 25. The playfields in the Sokoban games seem smaller than in some of the earlier games, but the challenge level has been upped where you're having to set up more things in advance to get everything to work later. Most of the other minigames are easy solitaire layouts, but you get some tricky spot the difference scenes and a few hidden object scenes, which now have "dummy" items which don't work to confuse you with the "real" ones. I have completed all of the Cursed House games and therefore enjoyed being kept on my toes this time, because this developer has made so many games using a similar puzzle M3 concept that they're in danger of falling into "more of the same over-cloned boring" trap. But this level of challenge is pushing it a bit for truly casual players. If you like the concept of this game but find it too demanding, try either the Laruaville (easiest) or Spellarium (moderate) series also made by LGT SIA, or play one of the two previous Cursed House games as those weren't quite as head-scratching hard as this one. Well worth the price, as it took me nearly 30 hours to complete (OK, I was writing the walkthrough as I played, but still...) and I confess to being stumped a couple of times and needing to resort to the hint button. If you enjoy both puzzles and M3 games which are different, buy this!

This is the most difficult of the Cursed House games. Very challenging. I usually have no trouble with the beetle game but I could not figure out level 4.
