We have Spirit City at home! (This is the Spirit City at home). A fun little game that feels like it was programmed with machine assistance. It does what it needs to do so no complaints. But sometimes I wish that it had the same polish as Spirit City... oh well, I'll just play both at the same time.

Perfect. Gamification elements are fun and motivating enough to get me to launch it and start working, without tipping the balance to being distracting.

If you're obsessed with Lofi music like me, endlessly looping Youtube videos while organising my Notion spreadsheet or getting lost in an illustration then ChillPulse is the perfect game to have running in the background. The dreamy, rhythmic beats blend seamlessly with the visuals, creating a calming atmosphere that helps me really focus. It's the kind of game that doesn't demand your full attention but rewards your hard work with a relaxing, immersive, experience but also in-game currency. I love a game that allows you to spend in-game currency on accessories, pets, and more. I also really love the ability to hide and change features so that I can declutter my workspace. Whether you're vibing with the music or just need a chill background companion for productivity, ChillPulse has the perfect aesthetic and mood. I love this thing!

Overall Review: A fantastic productivity app that keeps me focused on tasks without the temptation of opening a browser and getting distracted. The built-in Pomodoro timer is a great addition, and for just $5, it's a solid deal. It also features a nice selection of chill music and a few extra features to make short breaks more enjoyable. Pros: ✅ Relaxing music – Great for staying in the zone ✅ Pomodoro timer + alarm – Helps manage focus sessions ✅ Delivers on its promises – Simple yet effective ✅ Affordable – Only $5 for a productivity boost ✅ Customizable to-do lists – Keep track of tasks easily Cons: ❌ Fish tank is too small – Feels like digital animal cruelty 🐠💔 ❌ Music gets repetitive – More variety would be great ❌ Alarm volume issues – Not loud enough compared to the music, and there's no way to adjust it Final Thoughts: This app is a great tool for productivity, especially if you struggle with browser distractions. While the music and alarm system could use some tweaks, it's still a solid, budget-friendly choice for anyone looking to improve focus with the Pomodoro technique. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) – Would love some updates, but definitely worth it!

An excellent game-application! It doesn’t consume many system resources and works great in the background while working. Pleasant lo-fi tracks, rain sounds, a fireplace, a thunderstorm, birds singing, and the wind howling create a cozy and chill atmosphere. It can display the current time on a sufficiently large clock face. Timers, sticky notes and to-do lists are available. Cons: a small track selection, they get boring quickly. Anyway, Kudos to Catos Game and RJ for the amazing job!

Very limited compared to, say, Spirit City. Only one "activity" for your character, can't change hair or much of anything, only a few outfits and a few more accessories. And seemingly the only way to gain the currency for more stuff is the "focus mode" timer which dims out the background - which I don't like. But for all that I still find the pixel art very charming and I'll probably use this from time to time just for that.

Great app for sure! It feels really cozy and calming, I love it! I'd also give some advice for the developers: 1) UI and UX definetely need some work and polish. 2) FPS lock feels... like it shouldn't be there (if possible). 3) More lofi tracks (again, if possible) 4) Letters and translations need some work too, it's a great feature though! 5) Maybe add a feature to change the girl to a boy? Nevertheless, totally worth its price!

very similar to Spirit City Lofi Sessions but a step down in a way, but this has it own charm to it too!

This game uses 80-90% CPU, for no apparent reason. It isn't running Unreal 5, and throwing down complex geometry or physics. It is a simple idle game, that plays background music, and has basic retro 8-bit graphcis... It also has some kind of "message exchange" where you can write some kind of message, and maybe someone who see's it will write back. Most of the users are Chinese, as that is what I see by way of messages, so the question remains for such a seemingly basic game: Why does it need so much CPU?? What is it actually doing in the background? I do not recommend people install this. Edit: After posting this review, I just ran another Idler I have called Virtual Cottage, and the CPU usage for this game fluctuates between 6-8%. It is 3D rendered, and also plays music, and has timers for setting up tasks. So again... Why does ChillPulse utilize 80-90% of CPU usage???

It's not bad, but it would be even better if we could have multiple To-Do lists (for different days, for example) - something similar to Spirit City Habit tracker would also be perfect (just like in Spirit City too)
