my fav rally game of current time , great tracks , great vehicles , addicting rally and itches my ps1 obsessed brain!. 10/10
(wish it had a track editor or online mode instead of just beating online times , maybe run servers like trackmania were people race to get best times!.)

I will write a proper review one of these days. I can tell you in advance that it is a good game and that it genuinely feels like something from the late 90s, but better. Even in the early access version, the game is worth the full price.
What made me pause the game and rush to comment here is this: THE SOUNDTRACK IS AMAZING!!!
New players, don't forget to go into the options and to turn on the songs during races. They are absolute bangers! We need more of this!
Developers, please make the soundtrack available as a dlc!

This game is cancer manifest. the controls are an absolutely deplorable excuse for game design. the cars and the road give you absolutely no feedback to help navigate the absurd turns that you'll face. the cars somehow feel weightless yet, made out of fucking lead. The first goddamn track in the game is IMPOSSIBLE. i understand wanting to add challenge to a game but don't fucking rape my ass with difficulty on the first fucking level before i even have a chance to learn the mechanics. not like i'd want to learn them anyway, i'm sure i'd have more fun popping people's zits with my teeth. i wish i could have back the hour i wasted out of my life to play this game. I hope everybody responsible for this abysmal dogshit gets forced to drive a cybertruck for the rest of their lives. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS REFUGE

Honestly not impressed with this one at all, Rush Rally 3 is a similar game that is significantly better than this all around. There is just nothing really special or particularly appealing about this game, maybe if you REALLY like that PS1-esque look it might be decent I guess, but it's honestly closer to Dreamcast IMO. That said I think both of those consoles had far better racing games. Also, despite this being advertised as Steam Deck verified it didn't run well on my Steam Deck at all. Seemed fine for a while, but then it kept freezing up for a few seconds and eventually it would simply crash when it did that. So I didn't really play this one much because of that, but based on what I did play it's just not a game I would go out of my way for. No shortage of better rally games to play on a Steam Deck.
