雖然愛 Terry,不過這個作品集當中的遊戲真的大多是都缺法打磨的狀態,正常人大概很難好好享受。
價值還是在於理解這些實驗性小遊戲與設計想法的粉絲向作品

I bought this collection specifically to play Tiny Heist. I played that game all the time on CoolMathGames in middle school, and I am very happy to finally have a proper version of it that I can play on Steam Deck, and in my opinion the price is worth it for that game alone (although I also had a fun time checking out all the other games, many fun ideas, and I especially loved all of the “trainwrecks” games.
Tiny Heist is a fast paced roguelike stealth game with incredibly punishing difficulty, where one mistake could mean going back to the start. The only other game I know to compare it to is the mystery dungeon series, where the game takes place on a grid and everything only moves at the same time you do. Each level is randomly generated so you never know what to expect, the goal being to collect gems and make your way to the staircase of each level, attempting to go undetected by avoiding the lights of cameras and guards. If you touch an enemy, you’ll knock it out for a short period of time, but spend too much time in a level and more guards will begin to come in through the entrance.
In addition, there is a large variety of single-use items of varying rarities to help you play smart, get out of a bad situation, or skip through a level.
Overall it’s still a very fun game, and I highly recommend it. As for the collection as a whole, I really love the variety and personality on display from Terry, although I really wish there was more insight from him about his games, I’d really like to hear more about the backstories of them than just a single paragraph per entry.

Terry is from my home county, and the stony grey soil can be felt underfoot while I play these games.
Playing Terry's games is like having a conversation with him. "ah, yup Terry, that's clever", I say, or "HA Terry, I cheesed that sequence but that's probably what you wanted me to do anyway", or simply "TERRY" when that police car hits me for the 25th time before I realise I can just drive on the footpath.
Terry, you're an imp, and that shines through while I'm in dialogue with you as a game designer. So many things in life are about good communication, and your communication with me as a player is incredibly enjoyable.
