[h2]Balls. Everywhere.[/h2] [i]PegIdle[/i] is pretty self-explanatory, a peg based idle game! You shoot balls on a variety of boards. Golden pegs are what net you money for upgrading the balls and unlocking new balls, while prestige pegs net you the points needed for the prestige tree. There are a nice array of balls to unlock, each with a unique feature, like the bomb ball, that explodes into smaller balls that go everywhere, earning a little less money in exchange for reaching more pegs, or the ghost ball, that completely ignores pegs and obstacles, only serving the purpose of going in the bucket. There's a whole lot more, that can all be upgraded, like how much money it makes for entering the bucket and hitting golden pegs, how many balls you can have of that type on the board, and finally, my favourite, autodrop. Autodrop is the upgrade which allows a ball to be dropped on the board automatically, with each subsequent upgrade making it happen faster and faster. When you take into consideration that you can do this with all the ball types, after a while, it just becomes a raining ball fest, which is honestly, really satisfying to watch. The prestige tree has some nice upgrades too, with upgrades adding new types of pegs to the board, or the ability to shoot more balls in a single shot and so much more. There's truly a lot of variety for how you want to progress. Honestly, a great idle game, like with all idle games by this developer, they just have that addictive flare to them. Absolutely recommend it.

I like this game, but, and maybe my build is suboptimal, but it gets really slow and grindy in the mid-to-late game. Aboslutely worth checking out (it is cheap and has a demo) even if you drop it by this point, though.

Reluctantly I have to give a thumbs down. Obvious corollary to Peggle, sure, but the actual gameplay is not so great, and the upgrade tree is lousy. You either have to focus on gold - where the best way is to leave one hard-to-reach peg and then just fire your one most upgraded ball into the basket infinteiy - or upgrade all the balls to autolaunch and leave the game running for a few hours to grind prestige points. Say you grind the first 10,000 points and get the purple pegs - they basically don't appear, and cannot be used effectively to improve your rate on anything at all. Incredibly disappointing, and just reminds me that Peggle, while a different game, was actually fun for hours on end.

PegIdle takes the classic pachinko/pegboard style mechanic and blends it with idle progression, and honestly? It works way better than I expected. Watching the little balls bounce around, rack up points, and unlock upgrades scratches that same satisfying itch as watching numbers climb in other idle games — but with a fun, visual twist. The appeal is in its simplicity. You drop balls, they bounce around, and you earn resources. Then you use those resources to unlock more pegs, boosts, and upgrades that make every drop feel more rewarding. It’s relaxing to watch, but there’s always a sense of “just one more upgrade” keeping you invested. Progression feels fair — slow at first, sure, but once you get rolling, the upgrades layer on in a way that makes you want to keep optimizing your board. It’s got that “idle zen” energy while still giving you enough control to strategize how you want to build. It won’t blow your mind like some of the more feature-heavy idle games, but it doesn’t have to. PegIdle knows exactly what it is — a satisfying mix of pachinko and incremental growth — and it delivers. ⭐ Final Score: 7.5/10. Fun, relaxing, and addictive in short bursts. Perfect for when you just want to kick back and watch progress literally bounce around the screen.
