Great game. It can get kind of addictive, as I've played already way too much for my taste in 3 days. Classic City Building Anno Gameplay with production queues which are compared to its successors simpler and more straightforward. The entire game is overall simpler and less complex than its successors ANNO 1404, ANNO 2070, ANNO 2250 and ANNO 1800), which doesn't mean it doesn't offer challenges if you want. Also ideal for casual city building games. Managing everything can get a little bit overwhelming at the beginning at least I must admit.
Fair warning that it can eat up a lot of time at once like some other games like Civ. Don't play it if you're on a deadline of any kind.
