Dude, how is this game not more popular!? It is the only game that still gives me anxiety and fear, compared to other spooky/scary games. This game is just amazing, and I definitely recommend playing it solo or with friends.

I've never left a stream review until now.
This pretty much immediately became my favorite thing to play. It's been a LONG time since a game genuinely made me anxious and uneasy, and this game does exactly that. Hours of playing and it still feels just as horribly terrifying as the first round.
The atmosphere is incredible. Every map captures where it is but especially the terrifying feeling that something's off, and probably lurking somewhere, just waiting for you. It's a game that genuinely makes you feel uneasy, and utilize your peeking side to side simply because it's too scary to actually just go around the corners and look.
The sound is rich and sharp. The ambience and radio static helps set the tone a ton. It really really makes you second guess every noise you hear. At multiple points in playing I genuinely thought I was just hearing things and losing my own mind because of how anxious it made me. The ability to change some of the sound settings is extremely appreciated. There are times I've had to turn some down fully just because it was that overwhelming (in a good way!) and I wanted to keep playing, but it unsettled me so much.
It doesn't feel TOO difficult, and pretty much just right. The devs are active and communicative which is a huge thing for me. They seem to love what they're making, and trying to add and improve on it. I'm glad because while I loved the game as I found it I feel it has SO MUCH potential. I would personally pick this over similar set games (lethal, repo) any day.
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a genuine adrenaline pumping, anxiety inducing game. I forgot what these feelings were like until now and I just cannot get enough from this game. It's so good that if I could afford to call out just to play the recent update I 1000% would. Definitely pick this up with your friends and give it a chance.

why does "kissin in the vader" go so HARD!?!?!? I was too busy jamming out when I ran face to face with a mannequin thing that started screaming at me, which promptly made me sh*t myself and run at the speed of light back in the direction I came from and hide under a desk. Great game, will be playing a lot of this!!!!!

Really good game, but it's terrifying. I can't recommend this game unless you are a hardcore horror fan, which I am not. This game should be advertised as a hardcore horror themed game, that differs from Lethal Company, as Lethal Company is more tame. I couldn't find a lot of people playing this game and it can be buggy at times. I liked the raw feel to this game and the overall environment and themes, but for me it is way too scary. It is a mix between Lethal Company and Dead by Daylight.

Your game is amazing, you should probably remake caracters and monsters but 99% of the game is very well designed, the little details like lantern holding on your backpack etc. make the game very immersive, the inspiration of black ops zombies is insanely great, i don't have much more to say for the moment but it's incredible keep up like this it's awsome work
Ok i played enough to know you HAVE to ADD Zombies, tazer gun, and allow us to punch mobs with the hammer or some sht i'm being dead serious, also you really have to rework how mobs run + the spider is cringe asf you might rework it completly, add few more mobs and it's the game of the year, take care be safe your game is nice
Oh and bring back the flashlight wtf ?
Update: i love you, very nice work!

genuinely scared the shit out of me because the ai is smart enough to wait around corners and fake you out after chases and stuff (that or it's really good coincidence)
But seriously I'm sick of games trying too hard to scare you and this game doesn't do that, it actually takes it's time to build ambience, build tension, build dread and genuinely get you scared before the actual scary dudes come after you or even reveal themselves.
Not to mention, it's actually scary in a coop setting too, it's not like those other games where the sole fact of not being alone makes it less scary, it genuinely keeps all the tension and anxiety of Outlast or something but still being coop with your friends.
Truly a showcase of someone who truly knows how horror works and how to scare people at a psychological level rather than just face-value jumpscares.

Man the new level is unplayable, it's unbelievably dark and the floor caves in everywhere you go. Couldn't even see the trap door while crouching and looking directly at the ground. I wanted to check the new update and I died to trap doors every run. My friends all of the sudden got shot by something they couldn't even see. What the flip.
This game is one of the only ones in this genre that it pretty scary and challenging but this update was a shell of it's older self. Hope it gets better because this game is pretty sick.

This style of game in multiplayer is awesome. Puppet Combo games have genuinely one of the most oppressive unforgiving atmospheres and this game really captures that. It really sucks that it's so unpopular. Can't wait to see what horrors future updates add!
I feel like the "guy in the chair" role should be added with like a camera system in some locations since there's still power.
Also I've NEVER seen any other game connect it's updates/story to real life. For example, July 4th in the game's lore is the date when the world went to crap which is when obviously the V1700 update released. In fact, one of the reasons I managed to convince myself (and many other friends) to get this game was just through the patch notes and the way they were written. I really love the idea of the story progressively continuing through the updates and it's done so well here imo, it's just such a nice way to immerse yourself.
This isn't even the mention that the devs are active on their discord and do seem to take in feedback. I mention this because I know that other negative reviews said that the developers ban people if they voice any sort of critical opinion in which I wanna say from my experience that I have not seen any of this but instead they've been very welcoming and friendly.

It's as if someone parodied Lethal Company and the joke was that they'd actually put thought and care into it this time.
I thought the whole gameplay loop of "go collect stuff in comically hostile environments" was just boring, but it turns out I just hadn't played anything that used it that wasn't just low effort slop until now. Good game.
