I've played creeper world games for years, I've enjoyed it the whole time. Its a very simple game, but it can be exactly as you like, an easy zen passtime, or a hard calculated drawn out battle against creeper.
the fluid system is uniqe to to the tower defences for me, and its whats drawn me in. I just like the way it looks, and the way it lets me play. And i'm particularly fond of 2D. its a good game plain and simple. give it a try.

Good campaign and strong gameplay, but this game really shines in the custom maps functionality. I have spent the vast majority of my (364 atm) hours playing custom maps with custom game rules, completely flipping the game on its head, most are more addictive than any other part of the game, which is good already.
Downside is it's a bit flaky to load on newer PCs (Win 10 and 11), but once you get into a game it's fine.
