imagine locking achievements behind a DLC paywall... no shame.
and then imagine paying 20$ for:
-a game that feels clunky
-The most basic movement (you can not even jump, the most you do is walk/run or crouch walk...)
-has parts of the map that do not register until you are standing 3 feet in-front of it.
-NPC's that t-pose
-mid graphics
-the same enemy copy and pasted over and over and over again... (srsly you fight against like 3 different enemy types for 80% of the game)
oh wait i do not have to imagine, i am the fool who did...
definition of how to make the worst stealth game.
solid snake wannabe.

There’s something poetic about slipping through moonlit courtyards, unseen and deliberate. Aragami doesn’t just let you play as a stealthy assassin—it invites you to become a shadow with a mission. From the moment I stepped into its cel-shaded world, I felt like I was part of a quiet rebellion, one that values patience, precision, and the art of silence.
This isn’t a game that bombards you with options or flashy combat. It’s focused, intentional, and beautifully restrained. You’re an undead spirit summoned to rescue a mysterious girl, and your only weapon is the darkness itself.
🌒 What Resonated With Me
- Shadow Manipulation: Teleporting between shadows, creating cover where none exists—it’s not just a mechanic, it’s a mindset. You learn to read the environment like a poem, each stanza a potential escape or ambush.
- Minimalist Storytelling: The narrative isn’t loud, but it’s layered. There’s a quiet melancholy to your journey, and the final reveal adds emotional weight that lingers.
- Art Style & Atmosphere: The visuals are striking—stylized but purposeful. The way your cape reflects your energy, the contrast between light and dark—it all feels like part of the story.
⚔️ The Challenge of Restraint
Aragami doesn’t let you brute-force your way through. One mistake, and you’re gone. That high-stakes tension makes every successful infiltration feel earned. It reminded me why I love stealth games—not for the kills, but for the moments I don’t get caught.
Sure, the enemy variety is limited, and some missions feel repetitive. But for me, that repetition became rhythm. A meditative loop of planning, executing, and adapting.
