The game is fun even if you aren't a shondophrenic and for the asking price you really can't go wrong, I know I am well going to get my money's worth out of this game. There's lots of different shondo-themed perks you can explore and combine and a number of different gameplay modifiers that I haven't even started touching yet. Easy recommended at this price point regardless of whether you're a shadow fan or not.

Saw this played on stream, it's Vampire Survivors/Holocure but with Shonshon and it already hooked me in within the first minute and I need to be careful because I need to pay attention to THE TIME, instinct tells me I will be very addicted to playing for a while if I don't stop myself.
Love the stream references! Being able to customize runs from the get-go and make horrible decisions is such a vibe.

What may, at first glance, seem like a tired derivative of a played-out genre is actually a fun and thoughtful labor of love with a unique twist on gameplay that sets it well apart from its inspirations. Instead of choosing a character and sticking with it for your entire run, the game revolves around subsuming characters that you find on the field, restoring your health and gaining access to their abilities.
Packed to the brim full of references, it's clear that only the most attentive and dedicated of people could produce something of this caliber. Every fiber of this game was woven with such attention to detail, such love and compassion for the source material, that it fills my own heart with love just by playing it. Thank you for providing this world, this community, with such a wonderful experience.
