I'm giving this a recommend because it's a creative, interesting little game with really cool art. In reality, it's more of a "meh" than a hearty recommendation. I enjoy the storytelling here for the most part, but I kept feeling like it would be better as a short film than it was as a game.
The story unfolds through Warioware-esque minigames, which were often confusing and littered with trial and error style design. I was frustrated by these minigames more often than not, even though many were quite easy once you figured out what the heck you had to do.
I enjoyed the little musical interludes between each section though, and the way the story got more and more insane was fun to follow. That said, the ending introduced a moral component that didn't feel well earned, and was clumsy at best in the way it was communicated.
Take it as what it is - a silly, light-hearted revenge story (if such a thing can exist) with creative storytelling but simplistic, often a bit annoying game design. It's got charm in all the right places, and for the hour or so it'll take you the price is just about right. But for the dev's future efforts, making sure the gameplay is tight, with mechanics well communicated, should be a greater focus in my opinion.

i love the art style and can appreciate the concept but this is marketed as a puzzle game and it just isn't! they aren't puzzles except in the most basic sense and the game took me like an hour, generously. the final song sequence i found to be a bit too long and as such it started to really irritate me - the preachiness is not super impactful when there aren't any meaningful choices in the game...
this feels harsh and it is DEFINITELY not a bad way to spend $5! just seems more targeted at actual kids who need the lesson, and it isn't actually that good at teaching the lesson because there aren't any choices available to the player.
