Music in video games has come a long way. From Prokofiev's "Dance of the Knights" in Sanxion, that gave your tiny ship that majestic appearance, to Strauss's "An der schönen blauen Donau" that changes the exorbitant difficult landing maneuver from "Elite" into a 2001-ish movie of facile and safety. I grow up with Tracks from Chris Huelsbeck and David Whittaker(c64 Aera) and just could not enter the final Battle in "Breath of the wild" for an hour, because outside Kataoka’s take on the Zelda Theme kept me standing and stunning.
The Soundtrack from Wilbert Roget that feels to me like a gentle counterpoint
to the Radio score that hits you like Plasma Hammer. The Conceptual Art from Alexander Dracott to choose local Indie Music from the Pacific Northwest is on a level i never came across in video games before. Already 3 hours into the game I had to stop and look up all the lyrics(i know now about the Highway of Tears). It is like driving through a kaleidoscope of PNW indie-music that turns each trip into a road movie. It took me 250 hours of playing to understand the resonance, that immediately kept me going on playing. Similar like the art of Tchaikovsky(I listened Swan Lake so many times when i was younger ), there is a depth to it, that make me regret my first misinterpretations.
and than there is Wilbert Roget's almost shy contra-point.
The Soundtrack is an instant classic of me.

I didn't want this, and I have no use for it. So why do I have it?
Two reasons:
1. Support the devs of this wonderful game.
2. To at least offset the damage done by the morons who bought this expecting the radio contents without reading the actual contents by minuscule amount (unless the list wasn't there at the time and was added later on, but I doubt it).
"The radio music... which is what I wanted. But, that isn't on here. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew that" - you should've read the contents, they are right there.
"Bought for the radio songs, they are not included." - you should've read the contents, they are right there.
"i thought it had the radio songs on it" - you should've read the contents, they are right there.

NOTICE: I've read some reviews and I realized some people don't know this soundtrack does not include the radio songs. For your information, it does not. This soundtrack is purely the music made specifically for the game.
This soundtrack doesn't include the radio songs. while it would be cool if it did, I didn't buy it for that. I love the game and simply purchased the soundtrack to support the developers. Even though some people might be disappointed that it doesn't include the radio songs, this disc still holds some really good music.
Try track 12.

This Soundtrack isn't what plays on the Radio in the game (Obviously Bruh).
I knew what I was buying so that's why I'm satisfied.
The soundtrack is basically just the background music of the game. It includes two different downloadable music formats, WAV and MP3, which I really like because WAV is more editable because it isn't compressed AND it contains all of the original sound elements.
Even though I have only about a day and a half of playing time logged onto the game, I really really like it. So I bought the soundtrack because I just wanted to support the developers.
So ye, buy it and support them. The money Matters

The soundtrack is beautiful, but I do wish it included the radio songs. I do recommend, but just keep in mind it is the specific area/plot music tracks listed on the store page.

The soundtrack is composed very well, this is not a review of that. This is a review of what you actually purchase. The radio music in the game is pretty much amazing, which is what I wanted. But, that isn't on here. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew that, so the idea they sell the "soundtrack" is kind of horse crap.

Great sound track. I wish the radio music was on here. But I just bought it to support the Devs, because I really enjoyed the game!

the radio songs arent in this pack, this is only the custom composed music just for the game.
The radio songs can mostly be found free to listen to on youtube, this is just another way of supporting this developer team.
