Wish there was more visual/colour variety across the levels, but the dialogue between Saki and Operator (as well as the double flipoff melee) sell the game for me.

Peak boomer shooter, 100% recommend. The music is fantastic. Its a tad short, as you can 100% it in under an hour, but for the price that's more of a bonus. Should be played after the Beyond Citadel.

This game is actually super dope! and for $5 (or $3.75 like i paid on sale) this is an easy recommend. that said there are a few changes i personally would love that i feel would make the gameplay a bit more engaging and rewarding.
firstly the bosses so far have been very one dimensional and offer little more flavor than the standard mobs. i wish they had a bit more going on.
secondly the melee which currently grants a momentary invincibility which i never really notice and often forget to use entirely. i feel that it would be much more useful if there was a bit longer of a delay on the melee and instead of the invincibility if refilled your weapon magazines, i feel like that would drive me to use it more as on the harder difficulties i spend a good amount of time backing away to cover so i can reload. if the melee solved that than it would speed up the flow of combat and make it more fluid imo.
beyond that though the game is sick. super cute and entertaining with plenty of style and a price that's impossible to argue with. the detail of seeing you character and what she is doing in the corner is a nice touch.

A really short but fun game that reminds me a lot of classic Doom in its gameplay. The inclusion of the machete (and the middle fingers you flash when you kill an enemy with it) really encourages playing quickly and aggressively.
There are 4 difficulty levels. I played the highest (the 4th) difficulty for about half the game, but it was [i]really[/i] hard, and I had to play carefully and defensively. IMO the 2nd difficulty is best for just having fun shooting and slashing enemies. So I'd recommend playing that difficulty unless you want to punish yourself. Higher difficulty seems to mean faster enemies, faster projectiles, and more damage received.

Very fun boomshoot!
I like that it took more inspiration from wolfeinstein instead of doom but also didn't exatcly copy it. Shotgun is good for quick manouvering trought mazes while pistol and rifle are more for crowd control . I rlly like the knife invicibility thing , rlly rewards u for playing cool and fast. I didn't rlly pay attention to the story but I think this game mostly is for 2-10 hr fun and not that much more.
