This is not an "Oh my God" type of game, but it was a fun experience while it lasted.

Game is abandoned from what i can tell. Ran into a bug that prevents progression beyond the tank room. I made it through the tank room the first time but immediately died to a raptor in the raptor nest hall then when i respawned back in the tank room the switch to open the door to the hall is bugged giving no prompt to open the door. I checked the steam discussions for this same bug which was presented by another player on Feb 20, no answer from devs still. Checked their discord page as well. The issues is listed there but the devs only made a half-assed attempt to inquired about this bug and never resolved it. Basically the player said they were just going to restart the whole game over. The are no manual progress saves, only autosave.

Its a fun game. I'd say check your brain at the door, but that being said if you get it on sale it's certainly worth the experience

It seems fun so far, genuinely. especially since i found a dead person who annoyed the dinos enough for them to steal his shoes (I'm not being sarcastic), it actually made my night. However, unfortunately the game is not picking up my mic for whatever reason, and i cant even change my mic input to see if its just auto selecting the wrong thing. With the dino ai so far being a little lackluster (from what i was expecting at least, ie; i have to get like 5 feet from the front of the raptors for them to aggro on me), the mic just kind of ruins the scare factor for me. But the vibe of the game itself is awesome.

Really made out of some nightmare fuel in the first half; will have you on your toes and at the edge of your seat praying what you heard was just in your head. Only real complaint about the game is after about 2 hours of playing, it slowly stops being a dinosaur horror game and turns into a problem solving game that can feel repetitive until the very end of the game. Overall, awesome graphics, cool dinosaur designs, and a great atmosphere to feel like dinosaur prey. While the writing isn't the best and feels very copied off Jurassic Park, it's a great game to set aside 2-3 hours at night and have a little scary fun time.

Very short, but fun enough. Still needs a little work for sure, but as it is it's a fun adventure that's frightening enough.

It's an alright little slice of dino-horror if you're looking for some, but the game is rather short and full of gramatical errors (not necessarily too bad a thing, but most of the story is text-dumps) and also seems to have a bug that prevents any of the achievements from unlocking, as I had beaten the game with all collectables and not once saw a single one be received. Ending is rather stale too, but overall it's a decent enough romp that I could still recommend it - Curious to see if a potential sequel is in the works.

It was rather fun, gave me some scares and had dinosaurs so everything you could ask for from this.

This was an amazing 2hrs ish game! It made me jump a couple of times, i was craving a good dino horror game and this was perfect for it! Highly recommend for anyone who wants a good, yet small horror game to pass the time!

I really liked Unknown Tapes. The atmosphere is super creepy, and the dinosaur moments are genuinely tense. The only thing that bugged me is that there’s no way to go back if you miss an achievement. If you’re trying to get all the achievements, you basically have to replay the whole game from the start. A chapter select or some way to revisit old areas would’ve made getting 100% way less annoying.
