Please see my review of Start 11 V2 for a clearer picture if curious. I purchased this for a recent laptop addition (a 2 in 1 actually) thinking that I don't mind paying a few extra bucks to get the same functionality and form of Start 11 V2 that I have on my Desktop. Sadly, there's massive oversight on how Stardock have designed or implemented things when it comes to compatibility of UI and general use when windows is used in tablet or "mobile" mode... Firstly, any form of customization outside of arranging icons just doesn't work correctly... I'm not a software developer, so I don't know what causes this, it just simply hides, reverts, or glitches out my taskbar 99% of the time... This makes the taskbar useless. A $7 fee to render my taskbar completely useless the second I need to use it... Why? I have almost zero confidence in Stardock with regards to this. I had a major issue on using Start 11 (V1) a while back that eventually was fixed, but made my purchase unusable for months. Perhaps development will catch up with Windows Taskbar UI and behaviors for portable devices and tables/2 in 1 devices, but as it stands I can't get any of the functionality working correctly on my 2 in 1, in laptop or tablet mode...
