I love robots and space so I decided to give this a go. It runs well on Steam Deck with minimal effort. The puzzles aren't difficult but not boring either. The controls can be a little awkward (sometimes that makes sense in-game), and with my issues with depth perception/spatial awareness I would know what I needed to do but struggle to get it done, being able to move the camera would've been really helpful but I get that it is how it is for a reason. It's a me issue, but for others with issues of that sort IRL, it might be something to be prepared for. It does let you skip if you really can't coordinate something, which is appreciated, although there are consequences for doing so. Where this game shines however is the visuals and atmosphere. If you like sci-fi along the lines of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien, you're in for a treat. There are little references thrown in here and there, and it really shows how much the creator loves the genre and aesthetic. I honestly kinda just wanna wander around in the world as Major Tom because it's just so nice. Some if the puzzles are also up my alley (I love puzzles in general). I ran into some minor weirdness where Tom would wander another direction when asked to do a thing using an item, then it'd happen off camera and then it'd zoom back out (unlocking red jetpack) but it didn't do any harm. Music also doesn't always loop smoothly but again that's not a deal breaker. Recommend, if you're really into space, robots, sci-fi, retro-futurist Aesthetics! I adore Major Tom (the name also just makes me happy).
