I like the formula, great venues to partake in, I had to tweak a few setting but got it working smoother.
can't wait for update and having more clothes. Needs skin tone shade to drop a bit more in darkness. Ghost need personality behaviors to link to the bios so if you came here for the full shebang detective deal its still in beta so I hoping the devs next move is to implement that special order. Thanks for a great game so far look forward to more patches.

I've played this game for 5+ hours with my friends and have loved every second! The atmosphere is absolutely terrifying and I don't think a jump scare in a game has gotten me as good as the silent ghost appearances in The Other Side in a very long time. I love the aspects of character, vehicle and HQ customisation and am so so excited to see how this game progresses in the future!! Highly recommend<3

This game was introduced to me by a friend who is now a dev for the game and truly the second I played I knew I was going to enjoy this game so much. I was into phas but it always semed iffy to me and never caught my attention but this continues to interest me and constantly change for the better. This is a great game and it's going to become HUGE.

Its a fun game... when I'm not crashing. It overclocks my gpu. This is the only game I have that does that, and i dont understand why. So until they actually fix the crashing issue, it's kind of unplayable for me.

If the next major update is anything like we are expecting it to be, this game could very well compete with Phasmophobia lol. I love that I have 2 areas I can customize, and basically do anything I want with it and it doesn't have to make sense. When I bought it, I found it lack luster, but it would appear I found the game at a great time because the major update will be bringing the things I said was missing from it, and they're adding a feature Phasmophobia players have been begging Kinetic games for. The ability to speak to your dead teammates though the spirit box... It's a ghost investigation game, it makes sense to have it in the system... I'm looking forward to the future of this game and I have a feeling I will be streaming this game a WHOLE LOT

There's a lot to like in this new entry into the ghost-hunting genre. Coming from Phasmophobia, I like that The Other Side offers character and safehouse customization, even customization and upgrades for the vehicle you take to the jobs, which affects how much gear you bring with you.
I like that you can carry items in each hand, but there are times where you have to carry a 2-handed item, making you more vulnerable. The use of a cellphone as a default flashlight and also a camera, plus contract management, basically your journal, seems inspired, innovative and intuitive.
The Cleanse mission type is super fun, and having different levels to each evidence type makes the gameplay feel much deeper.
There are some limitations, though. While the maps are high quality, there are too few of them. The house with the interrupted birthday party is novel at first, but seems odd after playing it a few times. I'd like if the birthday party decoration could appear in home maps more rarely, to spice things up.
The Identify mission seems natural to Phasmo players, but it's limited. I think the dev could improve this game mode by taking the evidence levels from cleanse to allow players to identify subclasses of each ghost, which would make it more varied and fun. Also the ghosts lack any differing behaviors.
I know the developer plans to add more maps and another game mode, and I think this game is truly worth supporting. I'll be checking back in with each update.
