I'm not the biggest fan of the game so far the jokes are just perverted and nothing else theres a whole arc where jecka refers to her teacher as "daddy" its just strange.

WARNING: Do NOT buy this game - if you're genuinely curious about what happens then watch a YouTube playthrough and don't give this fucker your money because he is a horrible person. Damn this game is awful. It ruins every character and makes them all insufferable assholes. It would be kind of funny that they were all like that if they were actually funny because this game made me laugh like twice maybe. They feel like completely different characters because of the way they act and not in an even slightly entertaining way. The endings are pointlessly dark and edgy - even for Class Of '09. Also, half of the game is foot fetish content and it's absolutely disgusting that SBN3 purposefully made every character 18 for this game just so the characters could fulfill his fuckass foot fetish. He's just a queer-baiter and genuine degenerate - no wonder he voices Jeffery. Don't buy the Flip-Side, and if your view of the first 2 games is diminished after you finished it - well actually there's not much you can do.

Pretty Epic but understandable why people may choose to dislike this one over the other 2.

Class of '09: The Flip Side is the last and smaller of installments for the Class of '09 collection. As such it is subject to some of the pitfalls of smaller visual novels. Primarily that users may not find an ending they find particularly satisfying. The games creators chose to take a new direction compared to it's previous installment in that we have a swapping of protagonist and deuteragonist. We now follow Jecka in her escapades post graduation. All of the resulting story threads are processed though the author's conception of what truly awful post graduation experience would look like. Make no mistake Jecka isn't getting out of her story unscathed. What makes the story engaging is seeing Jecka and Nicole continue to make tough and awful choices in a world that truly hostile to their own survival. We even get to see the kind of deranged and uncontrolled activities Nicole attempts when school no longer interferes with her activities. In a lot of ways this is the logical conclusion to a story that was never planing on having a sitcom style "everything goes back to normal" type of storytelling where the characters remain static and unchanging. No people get hurt people die and the survivors are left to pick up the pieces. Is it realistic? personally I would say it is as realistic as films that say a story was "based on true events" witch is Hollywood lingo for pure BS. IE: completely uninterested in weather or not the story they're telling is honest or farcical. Plenty of people have experienced one or two of the kind of life changing events that our characters go though but almost certainly not all. In that scene it enlarges Nicole and Jecka's experience to comedic proportions as their suffering takes on more and more absurd tones as the story progresses. From
benadryl hat man guest apprentices
to uncovering a
pedophile
ring in there hometown. This installments endings are honestly some of the darkest in the series. People who were hoping for a more positive outcome for these characters will be disappointed that best ending for Jecka involves
vehicular manslaughter
. So if you are the kind of person who enjoys stories that have a darker tone that aren't afraid to depict cruelty abuse and exploitation. This is a great example of the types of societal ills and challenges that have plagued youth culture for a long time now. It's clear that this particular entry was meant to capstone the series as a whole because many of the issues with ongoing multiple choice narratives are bubbling just below the surface. Simply put it would be too difficult to follow Nicole any further than was happened to her from the original installment simply because every sequel counters or clashes with the outcomes of the previous installments in either major or minor ways. If you brave though the 5 different endings to this game you're gifted semi-cryptic low resolution horror style videos by the game's creator and a thank you message. In said message you get a sense of what motivated them to depict such a visual novel and what the games meant to them. In a video game we're encouraged to see our player actions as win and loss, good or bad ending, completion or still grinding. I would recommend to anyone picking up this installment to please remember that stories go where authors take them. It's really one of the most beautiful thing about them. Max Field of SBN 3 is the only person who could have wrote a story like this one. Anyone reading this could have written a story just as unique to them as this is to Max. (And honestly if you have the passion I would highly recommend it.) So if your takeaway from this game is that there was simply too much suffering for the characters or that there weren't any "good endings" please understand that you're demanding Max confine his work to fit an inferior definition of what a visual novel is. Plenty of actual novel's do not have good endings and we can be mature enough to recognize that this can also be true for visual novels.

Cheeks. This game genuinely ruined what could have been a fine duology of a game series. All because the dev is a manbaby. It completely assassinates every conceivably likable character from the first two games and turns them into flanderized pieces of human garbage, except for Jecka, who’s just SUBJECTED to the actions of said flanderized pieces of human garbage. This game is so abysmal it will lower your opinion of the first two games as well. It’s not even worth playing for curiosity or laughs.

im very mixed on this game, it is very sad and some endings are very random, depressing and uncalled for but i still enjoyed the series even if this may be the weakest one in the series. still worth it though if you enjoyed the others.

So I finished the game already and here is what I have to say. I feel like the creators put more thought into those random meaningless videos you get from endings than they did in the actual game. It fails as a visual novel as there's only 5 decisions in the whole thing you have to make and one of them doesn't even change the story path making it completely unnecessary. it basically feels like a crappy youtube series stuffed with basic edgy jokes instead of a visual novel with more unique and witty dialogue. The plot lines would have been much more enjoyable if there was more player interaction which the game is sorely lacking. Don't waste your money and just play the first game.

Shorter than the last two, less choices. I couldn't be bothered to finish. Feels like the creator decided to just completely give up.

Just finished playing this game yesterday and hoo-boy do I have ALOT to say about this one. the obvious writer's barely disguised fetish that the feetside is, it's really disappointing how SBN3 fumbled this entry when it could've been really good. From how some parts of the game are weirdly written to straight up putting Jecka in situations that wouldn't exactly be warranted it at all. It almost feels like this game is some twisted fan fic that Jeffrey wrote himself! (and unfortunately this may or may not be accurate if what I heard about the creator is correct ;-;) but if we take the complaints of weird/bad writing aside, the game on the gameplay side of things isn't even worth the price it asks for. you barely get to make any choices this time around, there's even LESSER endings than Re-up (2 in school and 3 after graduation) it's that bad as a Visual Novel that as much as I hate to say it: you could probably watch a playthrough of this game online and you'd still get the same experience. if ur going to still get this game, either get it while it's on sale or just go with watching a playthrough somewhere. just DO NOT pay full price for this as the pricetag itself doesn't justify the content it has nor will it justify the therapy expenses that you'll have after witnessing one of the endings.

As an avid fan of this series, this game was incredibly disappointing and terrible. There were maybe 2 or 3 moments that were actually funny and the rest of it was just watching Jecka t*rture p*rn. I get that this game is supposed to be shock value dark humor, but this was something different. There was very little choices you could make and it felt like just sitting back and watching things happen that were completely out of your control. Also Nicole was very out of character in my opinion and would NEVER treat Jecka the way she did in this game. There was also an insanely unnecessary amount of foot f*tish stuff, very uncomfortable. 0/10 would not play again.
