ENG: Interesting plot, without making too much spoiler, but it is a horror game where everything is upside down, we do not move forward, we go backwards, we do not solve puzzles, we disassemble them, and all that twisted logic with its rotten graphics create something that I think was very good and above all different.
Well, now for the gameplay, apart from some weird 3D first-person mini-games, most of the game is reading and typing commands, crouching, talking, listening, and so on. There are some inconsistencies and awkwardness in this regard, like getting stuck on not finding the right word and such, but nothing that can't be overcome. Finally, there are some non-boss fights (if you can call them that) that have been a challenge and I liked them a lot. Anyway, another rarity from this developer, at a very good price for the 3 hours it lasts.

Hmmm I'd recommend detuned or eldritch parasite over this one, but its still got that trademark crypticness from Ape Hardware, some the great looking renders and soundscapes. I couldn't get into this one, but if you have the patience its an interesting take on a text adventure.

I liked this game - I had a few laughs playing it, and, overall, I enjoyed the typing components. It's got a creepy, unsettling feel. There's some typos, but, honestly, they kind of added to the atmosphere a bit. I'd love to see more horror games in this genre. Easily worth the price of entry.

Something about a game developer remastering his incomprehensible game to make it equally incomprehensible seems like such a smug move. Wait, I apologize, this is ApeHardware, it's not remastered it's unmastered... Is it fair to say you are a reverse game developer at this point?
If it wasn't for some frustration with specific puzzles and a few confusing dialogue prompts, I would say it's definitely your best work, as an overall experience I think the focus on the weird narrative and the characters is something that I always wanted from your other games, even if the writing is a little weird. Between all of the strange locations and just meeting these surreal individuals, I do think the game has a good atmosphere going for it, the only time I felt different was when a puzzle was too hard to understand, so there were times where I just wanted to rage quit just because I had no idea what you wanted me to do.
What might confuse people is that this game does not function as a text command adventure in a traditional way, normally you get a preset bank of commands and you just use that, but here every location has its own rules and very specific commands, which just makes it very awkward because this is not how these things usually work. If you go into this game expecting each location to provide individual clues and only work with that, I think you will have a better experience. Also some of the early puzzles are a little hard I think, the one with the eyes is confusing, it sounds like you want the character to walk around, so you end up using a bunch of wrong commands.
I think the puzzles that were on the easier side made the pacing a lot better, with a game like this I do think the experience of just going through it is more important than trying to figure out which word to use.

(+) Well if you ever liked anything by ApeHardware you'll probably like the weird assortment of... whatever this is. It starts as a text command game, but there is a lot more to it, I think it was very creative.
(+) The variety of the actions and the characters was the most interesting part, constantly presented with strange psychotic situations that imply some psychological things that I can't understand if I tried.
(+) I liked most of the soundtrack, except the song in the graveyard that destroyed my eardrums, I assumed that was a mistake, but then I remembered it was ApeHardware, so perhaps not.

I would say make the first 10 minutes, like the first 5-7 rooms easier and more forgiving with the prompts. Try to make it so similar words have the same result, even though not every puzzle works that way, you could even make the game better overall if you coded strange responses to anything obvious the player might ask.
The first flashlight puzzle might be a little annoying for the start of the game, maybe make it more obvious that you don't have to explore and just wait it out. Also maybe make it just a little more forgiving. After that I think the game is a bit more intuitive.
Again that song at the gate, dude can you try listening to it in the headphones, your eyes will bleed.
Overall Thoughts: 7/10
I don't say this very often to you Ape, but this is a pretty decent and unique experience, I would just say make the text commands more friendly, give more responses that could accomplish the same action, maybe more of optional responses as well, just make it a bit easier with the harder puzzles. Also, I have a personal beef with you, the second one was clearly a freaking tangerine, not an orange.
