It is nearly a replica of Blazing Aries, not sure if better. I enjoy most of the game still, but it gets INFURIATING when I have to grind like an idiot on MEDIUM level of difficulty or backtrack saves, because the author decided that "oh, let's make this particular boss Dark Souls level shitty but on stupid-a** level" all of a sudden. Examples? Weiss was a first. Wimp that got blown by MC in fight 1 all of a sudden shows skills of a master swordsman and magician. Poorly balanced and sloppy. Next - whatever quest with boss being two hobgoblins straight away at chapter 3, with ridiculous string of hits and MC getting stunned at everything. Why getting stronger after hours of grinding if next thing will be just over the top without any reason? I have not rage quit any part of Dark Souls. Got tired, beaten - sure, but I knew I had to get better. I have rage quit THIS GAME many times. There is no "I have to git gut", but "this was deliberately and sloppily made unfair, this sucks!". I do not remember being this frustrated playing Blazing Aries. The fact I am commenting the game NOW, not after I've cleared it tells a lot. I mean, I would still support the author, but balance and patch this for the love of dog. *EDIT - changed this opinion to positive, as the game is overall good and I still AM playing it, now grinding and polishing equipment before going for the potential final boss battle... sigh
