Love it. Best burger game ever. Not even joking. I wouldn't have put almost 50 hours into it in a couple weeks if it wasn't stellar. What more can I say? Um... Relaxing, fun, charming, creative, challenging, and it's got cats in mech suits. Music is great, sfx is unobtrusive and logical, burger designs are creative and make me want to grill some. If you're looking for a great game in this genre, love a retro-futuristic vibe, unexplained cats in mecha suits, enjoy having the options to turn timers off to just vibe and make burgers while still keeping it challenging, this is the game. <3

Customer asked for additional mayo.
We then proceed to cover every layer/ingredient with mayo.
100% 5 stars.
Perfection.
(The game did crash after the customer left with the delectable meal.)

I love it! Relaxing to play with friends or alone. I really like the art for all of the ingredients and in such style of game I think it's really important that you do like it, since you'll be staring at them a lot. The customers are really cute too

1.3 My Kitchen release!
Got excited for this, then found that its hard locked behind level 4 planets. Waste of time for most of us who are still completing the planets as we will most likely hit endless mode and go from 3 stars to 5 in a single session.
Prior to this update:
Game was good just needed the custom kitchen setup that seems to have been asked for a fair bit. Easily a game to enjoy relaxing to with music and friends.
Update 1.3.1:
Woohoo they fixed so we can customise the kitchen earlier, good choice and thank you for listening to the community. Sadly they had to find out the hard way and upset the community first.

Galaxy Burger offers a delightful and quirky twist on the classic time-management and cooking simulator genre, set in a colorful sci-fi universe that immediately sets it apart from more traditional fare. The game places players in the role of a futuristic burger chef, tasked with serving a variety of alien customers across multiple planets. From the outset, the vibrant art style and whimsical character designs create a fun, inviting atmosphere that encourages players to dive into its fast-paced challenges. The interstellar setting adds charm and creativity to the experience, with each planet boasting unique clientele and culinary demands that keep gameplay fresh and engaging.
At its core, Galaxy Burger is about juggling orders efficiently and mastering increasingly complex recipes under time pressure. The controls are intuitive, making it accessible for newcomers, but the game quickly ramps up in difficulty, demanding quick thinking and sharp multitasking skills. Players must manage their cooking stations, assemble bizarre yet tasty-sounding alien burgers, and cater to customers’ specific preferences—all while navigating unexpected events like power outages or ingredient shortages. These dynamic elements inject a layer of unpredictability that keeps players on their toes and enhances replayability.
One of the standout features is the game’s wide variety of ingredients and burger combinations, which allows for creative experimentation within the cooking process. This variety not only challenges players to memorize new recipes but also encourages strategic planning—choosing the right ingredients and cooking order can make or break an efficient service. The addition of upgrades, such as improved kitchen equipment or faster cooking tools, provides a rewarding progression system that motivates players to improve their performance and unlock new planets.
Beyond the core gameplay loop, Galaxy Burger includes charming side activities and mini-games that offer a break from the hectic kitchen environment. These diversions often involve interacting with quirky alien characters, learning more about their cultures, or solving small puzzles. These elements deepen the game’s world-building and add personality, preventing the gameplay from feeling repetitive despite its fast-paced nature.
However, the game is not without minor flaws. Some players may find that the escalating difficulty curve can feel punishing, especially during later stages where orders come in rapid succession and multitasking becomes overwhelming. Additionally, while the art style and soundtrack are lively and fitting, a bit more variety in background music and visual themes could further enhance the immersive sci-fi diner experience.
In summary, Galaxy Burger is a charming and energetic cooking simulator that successfully combines fast-paced gameplay with creative sci-fi storytelling. Its unique setting, engaging mechanics, and playful presentation make it a standout title for fans of time-management games looking for something fresh and imaginative. Although it occasionally leans into challenging territory that might frustrate casual players, its rewarding progression and joyful aesthetic ensure that most will find it an enjoyable and addictive experience worth exploring.

I love this type of game but I LOVE this game in particular because timed play is 100% optional. So, outside a few rare customers with patience issues, I play suuuper casually while I'm watching other stuff or still on my first cup of coffee in the morning, lol. Even if you take off half my game time, I'm still only 3/4 of the way (playing completion-y) at 96 hours.
It's definitely a solo game, though. (Unfortunately.) My friend and I bought it together, and the actual gameplay together is fun--but only the host gets any money/achievements/progression in their game. The second player is only a helper, with no benefit to them. Since my MP bud is an achievement hunter, we were hoping it was actually cooperative with progression; I don't think he would've bought it otherwise (though obviously I would), so FYI.
Also, the greeting noises of the robo-kittens still make me giggle lol
