This game turns me into an emotional being who decides to sit down and play the lullaby's melody on a toy piano upon completing it. I keep thinking about my mom, my dad, and my family while playing this game. The focus of the game is obviously about family, but there is also more content about other topics. The fantasy world and characters of the game are absolutely gorgeous, it feels like I was watching a movie. Not to mention the voice acting is top-notch. I decided to buy the game after playing the demo on Switch, and it was definitely one of my best decisions of all time.

I honestly wish I liked this more but it was good I can see people liking it more than me. Parts of the final chapter are very powerful and it is hard not to get a bit emotional about a few scenes. Don't miss the game if you like stories about family (Ignore play time, its not that long)

I love visual novels, though this is to be precise, a kinetic novel which means no branching choices, just one story from start to finish. And what a story it is, the twist when it arrives blew me away and the entire thing is extraordinarily well written and well acted. This was 2024's actual game of the year, nothing else came close. If you stumble across this page, I can strongly recommend either instabuying this or adding it to your wishlist. Enjoy. :-)

This visual novel is a masterpiece. Its characters go on an interesting and captivating journey through another world, and this journey is beautifully presented with some very original worldbuilding. But as great as all that stuff is, I think it's the visual novels' character writing, and it's focus on motherhood, that make it a unique and emotional experience. This visual novel uses this isekai adventure to tell a very relatable, story about familial love and loss, and it does it in a realistic way. The message here is that being family comes with lots of difficulties and ups and downs, but when you are lucky enough to have a good family, it's a wonderful, beautiful thing. This is the kind of visual novel that will you get you to thinking about your own family, and how you might be able to do better. Not only do the game's main characters help drive this point home, but so too do all the different characters you'll meet along the way. It is very much a nakige ("crying game"). It made me cry more than any other that I've ever read, and I've read all of the most famous tearjeaker VNs with western releases, so that's saying something. And those tears are very well-earned. Any time I hear the game's eponymous lullaby for the rest of my life, I imagine it will bring me to bittersweet tears. I can't recommend it enough.
