awesome game to play with friends with amazing visuals and content the game constantly receives. Highly recommend if you are into some sneaky horrors along with crazy high octane combat!

You run around the same map over and over again doing boring and frustrating tasks only to get stunlocked in the corner by enemies you have no way to deal with. There's no real hiding mechanic or any stealth features that can help you deal with enemies, you either just shoot them until they run away or run away yourself. Despite the variety of enemies, each one causes you to play the game exactly the same. There is no real variety in this game and the main gameplay loop is boring.

It's a bit of an asset flip that combines elements from various games, and ends up being a really fun game. It's got lots of Alien: Isolation and Phasmophobia vibes. Each match tasks you with an objective like destroying the ship, retrieving data or capturing/killing the entity. You do various tasks along the way while trying to avoid the entity for as long as possible. i bought it on the Steam summer sale along with 4 other games, and those games are currently gathering dust. I did not expect this one to eat up so much of my time. It's a bit barebones right now, but it's getting new content soon and for an early access game, it's surprisingly not buggy. I've encountered very few bugs so far. Well worth 10€. I'd have easily paid double.

A few friends and I put some time into the game, and overall I see a lot of good here. Most of the creatures have been interesting (the terminator guy not included) and the premise is pretty cool sci-fi. Finding weapons mid mission and doing puzzles under duress is cool and the few mission varieties are varied enough to spice up the single (but quite sprawling) map. Kudos to the developers for that! What I can't figure out was dev's the decision to make the player deaths so disrespectful to the player's time. I'm a Dad with a smaller amount of time to game, so putting 30 minutes to an hour into a match, only to die at the very end and not receive a single thing for the time spent playing is wild. Pair that with the fact that you can die right in the beginning before activating a respawn pod and be forced to sit out of the rest of the match, and it does feel a bit like the game just doesn't want you to play it. I'm sure this is a case of me not being the target demographic or something like that but I do feel like the devs could expand on the mission modifiers they seem to already have to enable this less forgiving mode (no pay on death that is) for more payout. There isn't a reason to put out all available players when you can adapt the systems to suit the many. Were these issues addressed (I'm not going to say fixed here, because this all could be by the dev's design) I would be willing to change my review to positive. I wish Wanadev Studio all the best and I hope they find even more success in the future!

this game is amazing, played for 20 hours and had a lot of fun getting smashed by Adam smasher. after my hole was stretched so wide our ship could fit in my ass. Also my body became a freak after I died to a weird scorpion creature in the vent. This game also has cutscenes that made me like the game even more. overall 10/10 game can't wait for the full release.

Great game, but, needs more variety in maps as there is only one at this stage.

My friend and i bought this game because it was on sale for cheap expecting nothing. After watching the sexiest most cinematic cutscene ive seen in my entire life, we enter the ship and proceed to get raped in the ass and penetrated by Adam Smasher. After recovering from being smashed, we try again, only to get eaten out by some freaky ass squid and die. We try again. finaly we win a game and it was cinema. 10/10 this game is worth the price.

WOAH! The perfect tension AND non-stop stalking nightmare in 1 space-horror game. Sweaty armpits SOLO or fun as hell CO-OP experience - Quick 5 Minute Impressions Video if you are debating on getting this game [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0Kb8aD7s9M]Watch the Quick 5 Minute Impressions Video Here![/url] Bait your friends, authentic screams from impressive creature ambushes, and an eerie feeling you're being hunted and trapped by something in the vents and shadows while losing comms, forming teamwork or solo adventuring under pressure [GAMEPLAY] ☑ Satisfying ☐ OK ☐ I'd rather rip a fingernail off Claustrophobic? Easily startled? Love Sci-fi monsters? This game is most likely for you I had this game on my wishlist for 3 months and saw the devs ACTUALLY kept their content fresh and updated consistently. Bought the supporter edition for $23 - It's outstanding! and look, it's on sale. Variety of ways to approach each mission, crisp graphics, unique gamelike features hinting alien isolation, lethal company, and phasmophobia vibes. Overall, I would have paid $30 for it if I knew it be this much fun just getting wrecked by monsters [GRAPHICS] ☑ OMG is this heaven? ☐ Very Good ☐ Decent ☐ Ewww [AUDIO] ☑ Atmospheric/Amazing Soundtrack ☐ Good ☐ Stabbed in the Eardrum Glitches are absent... the map is repetitive but, thankfully the type of monster is procedurally generated along with RNG unique weapons. A new map and creature coming out this summer. [DIFFICULTY] ☑ SOLO Threat Immensely Frightening ☑ Easy difficulty with friends feels like you're challenged to last fraction of health ☑ INSANELY FUN and CHAOTIC on Harder difficulty with mission upgrades, unlocks, and special features It's a universal must buy and try it for yourself. Have some amazing moments surviving this gem of a horror game!

In the sea of garbage this is a really fun game for $10. The "monsters" are unique and interesting. Each encounter is different and when you're playing with friends it involves a good amount of teamwork to be able to overcome each mission. The graphics are pretty good too. Pros: - Atmosphere is immersive - Ship layout is pretty cool and despite doing the same ship multiple times it still isn't repetitive due to different approaches dependant on which entity you're facing. - Game involves a good amount of teamwork. If you don't play as a team you won't survive. - The level design is really well done. The objectives you need to do to unlock doors and access certain areas is really neat. Props to the Devs for the level design. - Haven't encountered any bugs. Game runs good too. Cons: (Mostly due to EA, not really any actual cons.) - Mission variety (they'll obviously add more.) - Ship layout variety during missions (they'll obviously add more.) - Weapon variety during missions (they'll likely add more.) - Monster variety (there's a good amount even in EA, but they'll obviously add more.) Definitely worth the $10. This game could be VERY good if they keep working on it. If they opened it up to the workshop eventually and allowed people to make their own maps and possibly enemies the possibilities for this would be endless. Pretty excited to see where this game goes. Support the devs and buy this game.

If you like horror co-op (like I do) ...and you've played a lot of BAD horror co-op games that look okay in a trailer but are no fun once you actually play them (like I have) ... then do yourself a favour and GET SPECIES UNKNOWN. At its current price it is absolutely absurdly good value of entertainment for money. Round up a few friends and just go in blind. Less research is better; unlike most games in this genre, this game will give you all the tools and information you need to survive and win, but will never hold your hand. It's polished, it's immersive, they CARE about the little details. The different monsters are actually truly different, completely separate experiences every time. Teamwork matters, communication matters, planning matters, and thinking fast when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan matters. Do yourself a favour and just GET THIS. I felt I had my money's worth after 1 mission because it was so intense and fun. Everything since then has been a bonus. Long, long term, you may find you want more content. I already kinda do. But with this game, I want more because what is already here is SO DAMN GOOD. It's very worth it. I have gone through a lot of coal in this genre looking for a diamond; now that I found one, save yourself the trouble and just take it. Trust me, it's worth it.
