The game was fantastically scary. It was short and simple, but did not disappoint. I loved every minute of it!

I you want to remember what the hay day of RPG maker horror games felt like, this is the game for you. Mucorales is short rpg maker game with 3 endings. It's very atmospheric and macabre, playing with themes of fairy tales, with its own twist. Since the game is short, I'd recommend playing all endings to learn more about the game's story. Although it's very elusive, and dreamlike, your choices each playthrough alter the game significantly enough so you can put the pieces togheter.

A compelling short RPG maker horror game that gets better the more that that you play. There are three endings and one secret ending. I highly recommend that you get all of them. The first three endings you can find out how to get from the TV tropes page on the game, but for the secret ending, steam has a guide that shows you how to get it. Once you have gotten all the endings, I highly recommend that you go to the steam discussion forum and watch the 20 minute video essay that someone posted there. It summarizes the game well. There’s a lot going on in the background that can easily go over your head, and the more that you find out about the game, the more compelling it becomes. Well worth it!

A nice unnerving experience for 30 mins-1 hour, I'm always a fan for a "dark twist on an old fairytale" if done properly, and Mucorales certainly is. Fungi contamination is a good horror concept, and even though there is nothing revolutionary about this game, it is still disturbing and pretty interesting and replayable.

This game was a surprise. I got recommended to play this by a friend who watched a funny youtube video on it and decided to ask me and someone else to play it. Of course, that someone else didn't want to play it so I did so instead. Nevertheless it was a very enjoyable experience and finding out how everything tied up together was and how
each playthrough is the exact same, only the main character sees it differently
I really enjoyed this and I really liked noticing all the little details about it especially on my last playthrough. Spoilered because it's the entire story.
The fact that the gunshot form the hunter clears out the mushrooms for the axe is such a brilliant move, because in the first playthrough, when we taqke the axe, the hunter/wolf yells out of anger about his axe disappearing. I also love how the hunter looks differently and sounds different based on what choices you make as the played, such as speaking normally when eating the normal food as well as actually being voice acted when you eat the stew. It's such a small detail, but it makes such a huge impact.
Thank you LuN! Edit:
Secret ending caught me off guard, but I may or may not have a new friend!
