I would just get this to support the creators of such an amazing game, but to talk about the DLC, I never listened to rock/metal before this game, and now I enjoy them. Also 7 character variants will allow for even more creative plays!

I'm biased, Disturbed is one of my favorite bands and having some instrumentals is pretty nice to have in the game. However, the tracks feel like they're a little quieter compared to all the other tracks in the game, so they tend to be a bit difficult to recognize during gameplay. Not a horrible deal-breaker, but it's something that needed mentioning. As for the rest of the content in the DLC, I've only had time to use one of the character alts out of the 7 listed. Riff Master is an alt skin for The Locksmith, and his gimmick is that cards played in ascending order (White, Green, Blue, Purple, Gold) are free, so if you play a Blue card and you have a Purple card, the Purple card will have no cost to play. The downside is that this variant has only 3 activation points so you need to make your card plays count, especially with cards that have a naturally high cost like Repenters and Snipers. But, it's an interesting gimmick to an early character, and after some struggling (and luck) I was able to beat my first shift with him. I've yet to see what the remaining alternate character variants are, but I reckon they'll have their own neat quirks to play with. Naturally, if you can catch it on sale, go for it, but it's still a low enough price to feel alright.
