Kingdom Two Crowns: Call of Olympus DLC

felt like the dlc was both more linear than the base game and yet still offered more gameplay flexibility. a new mechanic is the introduction of a flag that can be picked up to call up to 4 pikemen (hoplites) and 4 archers (slingers) and a rowing boat with a ballista, which me and my duo enjoyed immensely as it opened up more tactical opportunities, both offensively and defensively the whole storyline with the oracle giving rhymes as hints, us restoring temples, receiving blessings from gods and the backgrounds changing dynamically was very engaging and created a sense of buildup. we also really enjoyed the reskin, the atmosphere and the extra content (mounts and shorter winters!) as for the ending...it kinda sucks, because its overwhelming and completely changes the pace of the game. if dealt with properly and with a cool head however, it becomes an epic finale with an equally epic conclusion. without spoiling the contents, i can give you the following tips: [spoiler]ring the bell near the horse, and wait for as many subjects to come over as possible (just like you'd move to a new island), fill your pouch(es), for solo play, i recommend the sceptre as a blessing and 3 headed dog/gryphon as a mount, for duo play, the bow as the blessing and the spider are also good enough, once you enter the gates, work your way from left to right, staying as close to the horse as possible.[/spoiler] if you notice you're almost out of coins, and would still like the achievement for winning in a single reign, either ALT+F4 or "save & quit" from the menu (before you lose). you'll start from the beginning of the confrontation again this DLC only made me crave more kingdom and both my duo and i are very much looking forward to playing the viking one!
