I think the game idea and some of it is awesome but other stuff weighs the great parts of this game down.
For example, I love the idea of JoyLand and the starting cutscene, making it feel unique. However, there are many issues with this game that give me mixed feelings about this. For instance, does the game NEED to be 15 gigabytes? Why is the performance so bad on my good PC? Why do some buttons in the employee training section in the beginning not appear?
If the game file size gets reduced and the performance was better, I will change my review. But for now until the developers fix these issues, I recommend waiting until this game gets an update.

Overall I liked playing this game. There were some parts that had me creeped out. I liked the open space feel, because they were big spaces, but at the same time, it felt like it would be hard to get out of. I think the characters are really cool, their designs, and personalities are interesting. I think the chase scenes could be worked on, because they were in such wide spaces, the characters felt small and not as scary. Also there's a bug where it plays the walking sound if you walk while pressing E at one of the keypads. I'm excited to see where this game goes in the next chapters.

I really wanted to love this game, but unfortunately, there are too many bugs in the current state. Of course, i hope the dev can improve on these bugs, so ill list them here.
within the first 5 minutes,
-there is no tutorial whatsoever (i.e press f to pick up walkie talkie)
- after entering the building and speaking to joy, movement inputs randomly change from wasd to arrow keys, then back when you pick up the key.
- after picking up the key card, if you interact with the computer, there is no way to back out and holding esc to return to the main menu did not work. i ended up pushing so many buttons mu computer crashed.
-no menu options to view the controls of the game
-no menu option to change the controls of the game.
As i said i really wanted to love this game so i may play around with it some more and see if i can find workarounds
An unfortunate return to Joy Land
I saw there was an update, and got interested.
So yes, you created a new environment, but you had no consideration for the scale of that environment. The keys were like finding a needle in a haystack at that scale. the entire first section between the parking lot and the metal detectors was unnecessary. the room with the fuses was actually really good, though it could use some more guidance. the tape and TV were functional and i was able to pick up the walkie talkie.
Heres where it goes downhill. no ability to replay cut scenes or pause them led to an unfortunate time for my bladder to yell at me and suddenly i have no clue what im doing. WHAT IS THE FRICKIN PASSWORD?????
Aside from that, my computer still sounds like a jet engine while running this, which is very unusual as i can run nearly anything on my pc, im a game developer too so i mean ANYTHING.
