Combat system is definitely heavily inspired by the Pokemon games. I like that all the factions have different fighters you can unlock, and once you get far enough into a run you can purchase upgrades for them which keeps every run feeling different

I got to see this game in action at DH Dallas in June of 2024 and was hooked instantly.
That being said, this has good bones, but needs a LOT of polish.
- Only 1080p graphics
- Graphics look less polished than they did at Dreamhack

I recently had the pleasure of playing this game at DreamHack Dallas, and it was an awesome experience. As a fan of turn-based and roguelike/roguelite games, I found it to be the perfect mixture for my tastes. The game excels in creating synergies with different factions, making each run unique and strategically engaging. With a bit of luck, the game can swing between being easy and challenging, keeping the gameplay fresh.
One aspect that stood out to me was the art direction and pixel art, which I absolutely loved. The character sprites are well-designed and visually appealing. However, there's one issue that needs addressing: the graphics appear somewhat blurry. While the art itself is fantastic, the descriptions, text, and buttons suffer from this blurriness, which can detract from the overall experience.
I didn't notice this issue during the DreamHack demo, possibly because I played on a TV from a few feet away, whereas now I'm much closer to the monitor. This might explain the difference in perception. Despite this minor flaw, the game is a great experience overall, blending strategy and luck in a captivating way.
Good game!
