I loved the game, the progression of the challenges is perfect and the pixel art is very cute. In addition to loving the progression, I also really liked being able to turn on the classic mode and play without worrying about mistakes, it becomes a nice and cozy game. Having these options to play to relax or to challenge yourself is really cool.

Love Picross and Nonogram games and own a ton of them on Steam and other consoles. Hate this one. The music is monotonous. The sound effect volume is strangely high. You have to knock it all the way down just to be normal. Each of the first few puzzles make you guess at where the correct blocks go. I do like that it autocompletes lines, BUT..... when you miss a space (because you are forced to guess, the game penalizes you. To get three stars on each you can't make any mistakes, but you aren't allowing it to be skill, just good guessing. This does not bode well for 120 levels when you have to replay half just to get 3 stars. Devs.... do better and fix this crap. The story right at the start makes no sense. This was sold as a detective style nonogram game. There is nothing from the early goings that supports this. Utter garbage.

I like puzzles and nonograms, the addition of a cat in the theme makes it more charming.
The gameplay offers some very good QoL elements that turns the experience of filling the puzzles more amicable, like counting the squares you're filling and marking the numbers you already filled within the grid. These are very well thought elements! But on the other hand I felt kind of frustrated with the "life meter". I see that the game offers hints and whatnot (for those who might feel stuck, is good to remember), but I think it is a little bit too punitive, since it's kind of a "hit or miss" situation. If you miss the placement of a filled or void square, you loose a paw and loosing three of them is game over. It's a little bit sad to spend circa 15 minutes making a puzzle to reach a game over almost at it's end. Loosing stars is more than enough punishment, in my humble opinion. Most of nonograms works with the premise that you can cross informations and mark possibilities, and this is THE FEATURE I miss the most here.
It's worth mentioning the possibility of activating the Classic Mode, so all the added features are out of the way, and you can experience a more chill game.
All that said, the game is cool and I do recommend!

A cool entry in the nonogram genre where each location you finish, you get some clues to for the end game investigation.

+I like that you can change the framed picture on the main menu.
+I like that in the selection screen, the puzzles have the size displayed and a colored pin to tell if it is an easy, medium or difficult puzzle.
+The cat character is cute.
+Cool pixel art during the story, after solving certain puzzles.
Neutral/suggestions
~I don't see why the puzzle of each location are blocked. You need to play them in order (10x10 first, than the next one, etc.) It would have been nice to play the size you want in any order. In the end, you need to solve them all to unlock the clue for that location.
~Sometimes, row and column hint are crossed out when we are not yet 100% sure if this number should be crossed out. The game is giving out more hint by doing this, because it crossed the correct hint.so if I have 1-1-1-1, the middle 1 should not be crossed yet if there is plenty of room for many more possibilities.
~I wish there was an in-game tip to tell the user that if he wants to cancel an action(painting, adding x), he can by clicking the other mouse button. I read it on the Steam discussions, but I haven't seen this in the game.

-Bug: pressing F12 (print screen) in the tutorial reset the selected page to the first one.
-Bug: after pressing the play for the first time and seeing the prologue, I got an achievement "Achieved platinum in Espirito Santo".
-Bug: in the "sister" puzzle (from "convento da penha", second puzzle from bottom row), there are two transparent pixels in the solved image.
-The sound effect for placing an "x" (circle in that game) is super loud compared to the other sound effects. This should be fix, it's kind of disturbing. In the meantime, I change lower all sound effects in the options, but it's not really fixing the issue.
-I have not found out to cross hint manually in "classic mode".

Super chill game that gets the gray matter ticking. Really enjoyed chipping away at each puzzle here and kinda sad I've run out of new ones to pursue. Strong recommendation if you love casual logic puzzles.

It looks cuter now, but very limited lives and one mistake ruining your 3 stars is a lil too mean...
Classic mode doesn't help since it doesn't let you know when you made a mistake and you can keep on guessing which one is right. :(
