Brume Tower: a dormant marvel, its cogs and mechanisms covered with ash, its iron creations dutifully guarding the last breath of a civilisation. Enter you: the one to wake it all up. Up and down the tower you'll go, shattering platemail and breathing life into the tower's very heart. It's the toughest challenge yet; what's waiting for you at the bottom isn't the only thing in slumber. Plunge into memories, take on the Iron Passage; this is a gauntlet created without you in mind. An unnatural space that you were never meant to see. Make it your own. Forge through. You, between the anvil and hammer, a weapon of the gods at the end of it all.

TLDR: Overall like 6/10 DLC being propped up by good boss design. Probably the weakest DLC in this game for me. Definitely the best bosses of any of the DLCs overall but the level design in this one is terrible and nearly every enemy is annoying in big groups, which this game loves to do. As always the designated "multiplayer area" in the Iron Passage is hell itself, like it's filled with a dozen warriors with charge attacks, guys on ledges shooting great bows at you, and a couple NPC casters that shoot lightning and put slowing spells on you, but at least Smelter Demon is always fun to fight. Sir Alonne is a pretty good fight too but his runback is also mega hyper death aids with a million alonne knights around every corner you have to fight. Fume Knight has the easiest runback and is also one of the best bosses in the whole game so that's cool. I dread replaying this one every playthrough.
