Really cool concept, just missing a few quality of life features to make the game loop more enjoyable. If I could play this on 4x speed, and immediately trigger waves, I'd love it. With just 1x speed, I'm afraid it's a lot of waiting around for things to happen (like the next night to get enough resources from enemies to complete the mission).

Plain, simple, and fun as hell! Mixes tower defence and resource collector so well. Really fun and completing challenges like beating the boss of each stage is really fun. The gameplay loop is really engaging too, highly recommend! And that's all before it is fully out. So excited for what the team will come up with next!

Super fun game. Defeated all the content in about 40 hours and enjoyed it all. The genre needs more games like this - takes strategy and awareness and is still fun to watch the action! Just loved the balance of everything. Most of the bosses took me 2-4 tries which is satisfying. And then I actually unlocked the last of the upgrades just after defeating the final boss (as of Aug 12) so that seems pretty great design. Very impressive that this was done by one developer.

I very much love the concept of factory building with tower defense as they are some of my favorite genres, and the strategy and continuous building needed to finish the harder levels and bosses is captivating. However, I have found myself in a grinding mindset as each level is relatively the same. I think a good way to get around this, even if it is grossly overused in so many games, is a rogue-like system. For instance, adding a choice of 1 of 3 bonuses each day that add some uniqueness to each match. It would let players focus a certain build style they enjoy or think is more effective, and since the game already lets players choose which towers they want to unlock and upgrade first, it plays into that. I know, early access, and it's not even been out a year. Game is great, game is fun. I just think it gets repetitive too fast.

The game has great potential, it just needs to be balanced a lot. Too few resources, it takes too long to build the factory compared to when mobs spawn. But It's a fun game.

Honestly this is a fun and VERY hard game, especially on expert. If you like strategy and tower defense, this game is great. I would recommend this game and even bought 2 more copies to give to friends. There are few things I don't like and wish the developer would address. Map creation is too random. Sometimes stone spawns in really bad spots, trees scatter bad, path is sometimes very random even with resources mixing into the path areas, like STARTING stone can even be there. Trees is acceptable but one game my stone was inside a circle path which I could not mine immediately and needed to. One game, I only had 3 stones starting and another I had 8. Another problem to this randomness is If gun powder is not anywhere near you, which can happen in expert, you will lose automatically. I lost maybe 15 games in expert because I was looking for gun powder I needed to survive and it wasn't around anywhere. This problem forces players to re-roll the map, many times. I would not change the difficulty, I would work on the map randomness to allow players to build better and not all over the place. Resources should be accessible better than they are now. Also one game, the evil castle was so darn close to me even on the last mission as expert. This means again, it is way too random in map creation. Add some code to improve it to be nicer maps. Distance between resources for example should be allowed between stone, gun powder, coal and any other resources. Imagine if you start the game on expert and all resources are covered with trees??? Yes, that happened to me. I play expert a lot on the last mission. There should be a way to select all towers of the same type. I tried shift, control, doesn't seem possible. Sometimes I forget to select the target mode and have to select my towers individually. The tower cap limit is crazy bad. 40 is way too low. It should be at least 45-50 somewhere. I often avoid tier 1 towers and go straight to tier 2 as quick as possible because the tower cap can cause you to lose. I have only seen one bug in the game. The developer has done a very good job of making the game as bug-free as possible. The bug is a visible bug, a selection of white goes around a building while I am not selecting it sometimes. I like this game a lot and love a difficult challenge. This is why I think the difficulty is not the problem. It is mostly bad map rolls. I would address this if I was the developer. Overall good game, and that is coming from someone that makes video games too!
