this game is really really good it feels very very realistic very decent train sounds. feels like im actually driving a subway train in real life. What needs to be improved the lag the game is abit laggy at times which i believe is in the game itself. Do not think it has anything to do with my laptop im sure there will be bug fix updates coming out shortly. Now im going to tell you what needs to be in this game in the future shortly id like to see a london underground route preferably the central line or the victoria line. Also maybe the paris metro line and the belgium metro routes. I know this takes time to make new routes its not straight forward. The routes you have in the game are really good but people are gonna get bored with it after a while. But really well done developers such an insane game.

Reminds of me of Train Sim World dumb down more than that product already is. The graphics for this day and age are very average if not infantile. The environment is largely static. Sure there are goofy looking cars driving around like zombie cars but come on. The passengers walk in the stations but when they enter or exit the train they flow through each other i.e., not a single bit of collision detection. When looking on your camera in-car the passengers and station look like a mess. There is no ability to save in 4k i.e., there is no 4k. All 2k. Subway Station 2? More like an early 2000's game. Bring alive the environment! Let the trees come alive. The stations should be more than zombies walking around. I create a character, start a career, quit and come back...where's the save feature of my career. I save then leave the game. There's no load feature? I have to re-input my character again? If I'm missing something it's because the thing is entirely unintuitive. Pathetic. I finish a leg with xp, save go to main and I look at my guy and there's no experience, nothing. Joke Wipers. I set them from my joystick, save and it states can't save! lol. But I come back and it's saved. lol. Alpha junk. Having created a sub-par environment the driving itself is well done. The controls are well implemented. They could salvage the game mechanics by completely re-doing the game engine and graphics. Unfortunately in this day and age the middling to poor graphical aspects don't salvage the other laudable aspects. Not something I'm prepared to recommend.

Refunded 2 times but bought a third time after they said they will fix the lackluster sounds of the trains. Genuinely the best Berlin U Bahn Simulation ever made. Sound issues are getting fixed in the next update, so there's that. Problem is the performance, then again my PC is from 2016 at this point, lmao. I still hope they manage to make it run better on pleb hardware. Add more track sounds and make the motor sounds louder, then you're golden.

Game is very blurry on 4K so typical UE unskilled dev epidemic. Please take some time and review the graphics quality. Also Performance is very low with 4090 + 9800X3D but thats probably a UE5 issue.

It's probably the only game so far simulating the Berlin Subway so good. Still has a log of bugs, need of performance optimization, but the concept is nice. I would love to see new lines tho. The U2 would be a really good development.

An impressive leap forward in the train simulation genre. The level of realism is absolutely stunning from the accurately modeled train interiors to the dynamic passenger behaviors and the immersive city environments. The attention to detail in the subway systems makes it feel like you're genuinely operating a real urban transit line. The controls are intuitive for newcomers, yet deep enough to keep sim veterans engaged. I especially loved the day/night cycle and the weather effects, which really add to the atmosphere. The missions are varied and keep the gameplay fresh, whether you're managing tight schedules during rush hour or dealing with unexpected service interruptions. Performance-wise, it runs smoothly with minimal bugs, and the visuals are top-notch for a sim title. The developers clearly care about the community and have been quick to roll out updates and improvements based on feedback. If you're a fan of simulations, urban planning, or just want to experience the thrill of running a subway system, Subway Sim 2 is definitely worth your time. Highly recommended!

For the most part, I love this sim. I may not love the current state of the graphics (needs better scaling and better implementation of TAA), but it’s clear the devs care about this game, and have put a lot of work into it. I’m grateful someone cares enough to make an actually good subway simulator. The biggest area this game shines is the handling of the vehicles. It feels (and sounds) extremely satisfying to drive these trains, and each one has its own idiosyncrasies to master. At first, I thought the HK unit accelerated too quickly, but I checked videos online of the real thing, and yep, they really do take off that fast! I like the overall career experience. Your character can either drive a pre-made scenario, a randomly generated one, a straightforward timetable run, or a sandbox run; all of these add to your career statistics and achievements. I don’t know why, but I enjoy watching the total number of passengers served go up after each run. How are the city environments? Well, this is a mixed bag. The cities do feel well made, and I love having a train simulator that takes place in a major urban area (Hmmsim Metro is another great one), but the lower resolution can be a bit of a drag when looking out at the scenery. It’s not horrible in my opinion, and my eyes got used to it, but I’d still love to see a graphics upgrade. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my 14 hours so far. I enjoyed the first Subway Sim, and this one is a significant step forward. The dev is actively improving the game, and I look forward to seeing how this game and the franchise grows.

The models are great and the handling of the units are good too, stations also have been given a true to life look and the A.I traffic on the line act and behave in a realistic way, I love the career mode and being able to finish your shift at the deport is a great touch (thanks to the new update) The biggest letdown is the performance, So id highly recommend using a program on steam called Lossless scaling and using the frame generation the program provides (if you want to enjoy a smooth 60 FPS) otherwise its a hell of a stuttery jittery mess, The game really needs optimisation badly

It's fun, could use some track sounds, especially when passing over interlockings.
