this game is ok for 5 bucks. a lot of reused content from his past game Stranger. a pretty cheap game but a ok play if you want something new.

happy to see that the halloween event got a full version, mechanics fleshed out nicely and not as camping easy as original and good to see a new and creepy killer worth what it is costing

Great game, definitely gave me a few jumps. There an enemy customisation option, which I've still to try, but is definitely unique. And it's only a fiver, how can you complain?

OMG! I never heard of hallways before, but I have used hallways in the past. This was really similar to my irl hallway experience. I cant wait for more hallways. Watch out for the hidden cat in the level 5. He was cute though.

Hallways is in many aspects a spiritual successor to Stranger. Confined to an intersection between dark hallways, you're tasked with managing flashlight power to reveal and deter a murderous rabbit. Limited power sources require you to play short mini games on a laptop to recharge your flashlight and silence an occasional siren that seems to aggravate the killer. Especially on higher difficulties (later nights), the tension that builds in this otherwise simplistic gameplay loop is really special, and consistent across the developer's other titles. As an added bonus, the "Custom Killer" feature from Stranger returns, allowing players to swap Whiskers for other characters, making for hilarious gameplay twists.
One detail I really love about the Underground Facility is that the killer can sometimes block an ambient light in one of the hallways, giving you environmental cues of his whereabouts. The Bunker map opts for a more straightforward and challenging design, removing ambient lights and placing focus on the core flashlight mechanic. No matter which you choose, there are ample options for increased difficulty and higher tension. If you're looking for a simple, easy to learn, and tense horror game, consider giving this a try!
There are a few points of feedback that I think would elevate this game, many of which inspired by Stranger:
-I would love to see more ambient noises, light flickers, and other environmental cues added to give occasional indication of Whispers' location.
-Long term: Consider modifying the endgame to include news reports (or equivalent story progression) on Whispers' devious plans or identity, much like in Stranger. Or in the short term, lore-building newspaper clippings or something in the playground rooms to give them more context and purpose.
-Progression: Consider turning Wins into currency! One win could equal one Ding Point (iykyk), and players could save up for gameplay-enhancing upgrades. Examples: Slightly improved Laptop battery at 3 points, a sprint button at 5 points, 3-charge Flashlight capacity at 10, and 15 points for a one-time use (per match) Flashbang grenade that deters Whiskers like a hallway light.
Congrats on the release and keep up the good work, Will! Looking forward to what you cook up next :)

really nice presentation and sound design. you can change the killer's appearance in the hallways to be many things, such as:
-Joe Biden
-Your favorite waifu
-Others
the possibilities are endless, i was on the edge of my seat

Hallways is a strategic horror game where you use your flashlight and the limited power supply of the building to stay alive and survive the night. I honestly thought I wouldn't get scared but I did jump once or twice when I saw whiskers creeping up in the hallway. I have a list of pros and cons below but overall I enjoyed the game and would recommend to anyone who is interested in trying the game as it is made by a hard working solo developer.
Pros:
-Clean and easy to navigate UI
-High quality visuals
-No bugs or performance issues
-Customization of the killer outfit
Cons:
-Not enough audio cues for whiskers
-No indication on how long you must survive
(since the power supply is limited knowing how much longer you need to survive will help with saving/timing your 10 uses of the building power)

I went in pretty blind, not knowing what to expect and I got pleasently surprised! It feels like a refreshened Five Nights At Freddy's with some unique twists!
I love how you can add a custom image to change out the monster texture, added a picture of my mate and it genuinely looked terrifying lol.
Highly recommend!

After 30 minutes of playing this game and passing through the first level here are some suggestions on how to improve the game when it comes to gameplay:
- more sounds related to gameplay and ,,Whiskers" position (even fake ones)
- more ambient sounds like light flashing, something falling etc...
- because I already played StrangerZ i would appreciate maybe more original approach (more original minigames and different UI) to the laptop (charging and all the features), maybe for example a minigame where if u fail the minigame the environment gives u a feedback that makes u feel more stressed
- create a loading bar when charging the generator (which creates more pressure on the player trying to move it as fast as possible)
- when charging the generator make the valve move based on circling mouse movements (like in Amnesia) + when circling fast with mouse the generator charges quicker
- information about when the game ends in hours (like in FNAF)
- less information about how whiskers looks in ,,training"
- maybe not even adding ,,training" or ,,tutorial" at all just some basic info only related to flashlight, laptop and generator
- generally improving jumpscare*s (add more of them even)
- better optimilization
- better language translation
- replacing Siren with something more mechanics changing (making the game more difficult when Siren is on gameplay-wise so the player really has to reset it in order to not be in disadvantage, because u can easily get used to the siren and ignore it)
- giving player more options to spend the ,,building battery" on and so making the gameplay more diversified
- adding plot and story to the game would be amazing (some letters or mini levels in between the real levels)
I really see a big potential in ur games so its pity u are on ur own and dont have a team of people, so I hope I can support u at least this way of buying the game and giving review. I could volunteer to translate the game to slovak language, but i know this is probably last thing on ur list of improvements and changes to the game. I may add something to the review later when I play more or write a completely new one after some gameplay time. I wish u good luck with ur games cuz they really do have potential, also me and my friends played StrangerZ and we loved it and are waiting for 2.0 update.
EDIT:
BUGS
- when whiskers is close to killing the player in a hallway sometimes u can see him before he attacks (dont know if its supposed to be like that)
- sometimes when flashing lights u can only see a whiskers head on the ground and not the whole body
