I played Phantasie decades ago on my cousin’s Commodore 64 and always wished I had my own copy - now I finally do, and it’s been a blast to revisit. The graphics are charming, the interface is simple, and the core gameplay still has that old-school appeal, even if it feels pretty primitive by slightly later standards (it's more advanced than Rogue, but less refined than early JRPGs or later Ultima titles). It’s a relic of its time, but for fans of classic dungeon crawlers, it’s still a fun and nostalgic experience.
