This game is an absolute blast one of the best concepts iv seen in awhile. the only problem is the lack of players if you're playing with less than 5 others, it'll take a long time to find a game.

Despite the negative reviews whining about there being *gasp* a matchmaking service, this has proven to be a high quality party game with modes and modifiers that do keep the one map fresh - it's what it says on the tin, as well as being very consumer friendly. The bots are a bit lifeless and pretty deadly though, the fun is definitely multiplied by the number of real humans you can rope in.

Since the 1.2 update, this game suffers from a massive downgrade when it comes to private games with friends. We're now required to play in public lobbies to play the missing game modes (as seen in a dev reply) ? It's not a viable solution and communication about it wasn't the cleraest. Might revise my judgement if changes are made, but can't recommend it to small groups of friends.

This game is super super fun to play with friends and I was so excited when I saw that it comes with a guest pass. Bought it, installed it, went to play with friends, boom. Sign into Playstation network. I would be fine making a PSN account if it was just me but I am NOT about to force all five of my friends to make accounts and have them each individually sign into their game. This is just like the Helldivers 2 controversy of earlier this year where you were required to have a playstation account. Some don't even have access because PSN is banned in their countries! Why can't I just play the game?

Was fun before, but made headhunters only available for public. Has left our game nights until this changes. We need the freedom to choose what mode we want to play and with whom with full freedom.

Imagine, if you would. A game built to be played with your friends. Easily accessible with one one purchased copy needed. Then you kill the entire point of that by forcing the game to require a PSN account. Did Helldivers 2 not teach Sony a god damn thing? The game itself is fun. But I'm not recommending it until Sony get their grubby fingers out of it.
