Definitely a unique and very fun game to play with friends! Even solo is fun. I highly recommend this!

I was enjoing this game and I get all the way to getting a company. I then got the campaign job of building my first house and I paint all the walls to what the customer wants. I came across a small wall and I used 3 to for 4 cans of paint that had 1,600 points. I could only get the wall to 85% complete even thou I got the paint is completed but didn't check off the to do list it showed 2/3 walls done.

I have enjoyed playing this game for a while now. I use to work some construction projects in the Army, and now this takes me back to my younger days when I was able to work. Now, being disabled, this has given me a chance at feeling like I am actually running a business and making an earning. Granted, I still have a lot to learn, but with the help of the game, I am doing pretty good.

I've played this game for 20 hours, and while it’s still buggy, the good news is my motherboard has stopped begging for mercy. System specs:

Intel Core i7-12700 (12-core)
GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
32GB 3600MHz RAM
2TB M.2 SSD
B660 chipset / 650W PSU
When I first started playing, my PC completely locked up—full-on monitor freeze, game crashes, and POST beeps like it was about to give up. The only time I’ve seen anything like that before was when my rig was full of dust and trying to run Cyberpunk. That’s how intense Contractville was acting. But things have improved. No more lockups, and the beeping has stopped, though it still has its fair share of glitches and rough edges. At least now I can actually play without my PC sounding like a fire alarm.

Verdict:
Performance is better, but bugs remain. Definitely not melting my PC anymore, but still not what I’d call stable. If you’re into games like House Flipper or The Sims, there’s a lot of potential here—but I’d still wait for more patches before diving in deep. 💻 20hours played 🔊 1000 beeps survived 🧯 No more system meltdowns—just the occasional bug Fix the bugs, and this could be great.

Buy on sale or if you REALLY love construction (but don't care about the details). Graphics are passable, game play loop is repetitive but satisfying if construction is your thing. The game would benefit from it being easier to show friends visiting your session previous creations, as it stands once you finish and sell a house all the windows darken and you're left with just the curb appeal. This limits you to showing them your current project and previous paint-jobs. One personal issue, it bugs me that you can't charge the electric vehicles from your solar and wind power production at the office. You invest large amounts of money into building and upgrading a private electrical grid, yet can't just plug in your electric work van while it sits in the garage to take advantage of that free power. There's game there, but room for improvement.

Fun game for those of us who enjoy 'busy' games and creativity. But there are a lot of big flaws left to work out. The guide: This guide is seriously lacking a lot of information. Like how to do various tasks or what order they need to be done in. I had to keep google up on my second monitor and constantly search for how to do things. For example, the instructions for adding a porch are very basic. It doesn't tell you in detail or step by step. It doesn't tell you that you need to go purchase separate porch-related roof materials to complete the roof... or the railings. Over and over again, I had to hope that google had an answer. Snapping: The snapping in this game is just terrible. There is no 'snap to grid'... it just snaps to... something. Trying to install cabinets in a kitchen is complete frustration. I can barely get them to at least APPEAR to line up straight. This process shouldn't be this hard... place a corner cabinet (it should SNAP into the freaking corner!), then the rest should snap against each other after that so they line up perfectly. I got so frustrated with this, I quit the game and just can't be bothered to mess with it again. If you put down baseboards and crown molding, I think it tries to snap against that. Problem is, the game gives you no way to remove the crown and baseboards once you placed them. So I can't even remove them to try placing the cabinets without them. Only option is the go back to the planning shed and start over. Screw that! It takes forever to get this far with all the forming, concrete, etc... Scaling in the planning stage: I have my localization for measurements set to imperial. To me, that means inches, feet, etc. When trying to draw out a house, what the heck is a 'yr'? Why can't it just measure in feet/inches like most normal things? When you're supposed to build a house with a set size, it is VERY confusing trying to understand how big you need to build the floor plan. What happened to square footage? That is how houses are measured, at least in the U.S.. Instead you have this 'yr' mess that doesn't make any sense. And when you draw out a square, it gives you only that yr number which means absolutely nothing to me. It should show me the square footage of the square I am drawing. That, at least, would be easier to understand. Design points: This system is pretty cool. But, there are so many instances where a room calls for a "seat". You go in the furniture store to look for a seat and when you find and add it to the room, it doesn't seem to count it. Same thing happens when it calls for a "cabinet". What kind of cabinet? You end up wasting money on a half dozen different cabinets until you find something the game likes. The design points system is a great idea, but way too strict. Open it up and allow for more creativity. I've resulted to using cheats to get more money because of this mess. Carrying stuff: The delivery spot will have all of your stuff you ordered for the house. So if you have 15 boxes, you have to run back and forth to that spot and grab each box, one at a time, no matter how small the box is. At least make it so you can carry 2 or 3 of the small boxes at once. You will spend almost as much time running from that spot to the house, and back again as you do actually doing the work or placing items. If it's a large lot, you'll spend more time running back and forth. For new buildings, that delivery area should really be right there close to the project somewhere, or at least let the player move it to where they want after the planning stage. Ladder: there are no ladders! For the first 5 or 6 hours of playing this game, I was pulling my vehicle up close to the house and using it to jump up on the roof to build the roof. I could find nothing telling me that there is actually a scaffold you can buy and use. Why aren't little things like this mentioned in the guide when explaining how to do the work? Goes back to my complaints about the guide. It is extremely basic. Add more details. Roof designing and house shapes: This one really bugged me. I built a house that was kinda L shaped. I wanted to use a gable roof. But you can't rotate which way you want the gable roof. So you end up not being able to roof the house the way you thought you could. What you end up with is part of the house with one gable roof, and the other part with a gable roof and instead of them flowing into each other like a normal house would, its a giant "M" shape. If there is an option to rotate which direction a gable roof runs, this would be a non-issue. How can you leave out something as basic as that? While on the subject of roof design... we need the ability to add ceilings outside of the exterior wall so we can build our own porches our way, as well as foundation/floor. Speaking of porches... Porches: It's great that you can purchase a "kit" to create a nice porch. But OMG is this thing a royal pain to add! The snapping issue I mentioned before? Yeah, this is where it completely fails. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a porch to snap in place where I wanted it. Be careful where you place windows by the way... if you plan on adding a porch, you have NO idea where the game is going to allow you to put it - so you could end up with the porch covering half a window. Devs - PLEASE fix the snapping problems in this game! Having this stuff snap in place would have made all the other little issues more bearable. The idea of this game is fantastic. I love how detailed everything is from planning (except for that weird measurement system) to pouring a foundation and actually building a house. I still recommend it. But the biggest issue I have is the snapping. If they fix this and nothing else, I'll put a lot of hours into it I'm sure. I don't even mind so much the running back and forth for most of the game to grab and place items. But for God sake, at least fix it so we can carry a few small boxes at once.

I HIGHLY recommend this game it's HELLA FUN! I highly recommend when you can getting the trash compactor, a stable power source and doing the trash or demolition missions. I only have 4 and half so far in the first day (I've been playing since like roughly 4:30 am and its 9:02 am. (I'm still playing the game).

for 10 years I played cod and battlefield and I retired to Parcel Simulator, Grocery store simulator, and the like. This allows me to live out my veteran ptsd simulator. Trying to rejoin the civillian population, thinking about how many people I ended in my 10 tours of the duty and the field. good game.

Neat idea and overall the game is quite interesting. The problem is the implementation. Graphics are quite low quality and it feels like a Unity game with standard shaders. Better this than the Unreal engine cookie cutter shiny assets, although it is not that much better. Sound is also barebone and the minimum to function. The game is a mix of many different "simulators" where you do contracts, as the name implies. The positive is that you have a lot of jobs, so you are not limited only to do construction work/demolition, but can also do deliveries, repairs, cleaning, decorate, sell and buy furnitures and even recycle trash and sell it. Problem is: none of these jobs are actually finished and works without issues. The game has been in early access, and that was expected, but since launch not much changed. Performances are a joke even with a powerful rig and with DLSS enabled, the game sometimes tank to 10-15 FPS; and in some instances as you are doing demolition, it drops to single digit. Clearly there are leaks with assets and functions/objects not destroyed correctly, and the overall experience is really affected by this. Whatever you do eventually you end up hitting some slow down at one point or another AI for cars is N/A; they run around and do not much more than that. The cars have no weight and slide over the road. Driving vehicles is also a really bad experience, and considering that part of the game is driving a taxi or deliver things, you can imagine that what you will experience is basically just hassle after hassle. There is no system to penalize players for driving into other cars, there is no damage model so you can do whatever you want. Just need to put gas in the car/truck Bugs are plenty; cars turn right at crossing when they should go either straight or left; packages you place on the truck may end up floating because the package didn't connect to the truck; interactions with things like windows and other items sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Mix this up with the bad driving and previous issues, and you will wonder why is even worth playing the game. I enjoyed it until the bugs and issues not solved got in the way. As is now, it is not really enjoyable, no matter what is added to the game, as driving is bad, doing almost every job is quite clunky and performances now are also tanking at random, so ironically the game was better when it was just an early access game with fewer features. 4 out of 10 for me; great game idea and good basis but the implementation is sadly unsatisfactory without rewrite completely how traffic AI and driving works, solve performance issues and making overall the various jobs less clunky.

Game is incredibly un-optimized. Turning the camera is choppy, there are numerous connection issues when trying to play with friends, and lighting sporadically shifts depending on where the character is walking. The anti-nausea feature did not seem to do anything either. The game feels unpolished. Normally, that wouldn't be an issue, but charging $30 USD is a big ask for how this game plays.
