This is a jigsaw puzzle game. The pictures are pretty, and the music is mellow. You pick up and place pieces with l-click, and rotate them with r-click. It took me 25 hours to complete all 30 currently available puzzles.
I have some gripes. You basically have to build the pictures blind, i.e. once you pick a picture to assemble, there is no way to look at the "picture on the box" without saving and exiting to the menu, unless you turn on the "backlight", but that basically shows you exactly where everything should be placed, which rather defeats the purpose of the exercise.
Also, shuffling the pieces does not show you all of them , but certain pieces only becomes part of the available group once you've placed down initial pieces. It makes it very time consuming to find certain bits that you know will form part of the section that you're working on.
Overall I got more enjoyment than frustration from the game, so it is a 6/10 recommend, but I remember Glass Masquerade more fondly.

Such a nice game design reminiscent of how they used to make them. Good puzzles and beautiful pictures.

A unique enigma awaits. Reconstruct fragmented visuals into a mosaic. However, you are restricted to merely glimpsing a small section, making it delightfully intricate and captivating.

7/10 not quite as good as the Glass masquerade games, but still fun and worth playing along with new puzzles being added.

Mosaic Mysteries captivated me with its enchanting stained glass puzzles. Illuminating and assembling the shards revealed mesmerizing landscapes. An artistic delight!

One of the best games I've ever played. You really do start to feel like you're learning a new language while playing this, and as each new challenge unfolds, it is the most satisfying feeling you can have when you figure out what you're being told. I also love the art style, very similar to that of Sable (another great game you must check out if you love exploration), and it's been done cleverly enough that you can get hints from the visual design about what the words mean if you really pay attention.

An unusual puzzle. Assemble mosaic images. But you can't see the whole example, only a small window. It's more complicated and interesting.

If you like relaxing yet challenging puzzle games, this one is for you !
I loved the Glass Masquerade puzzles, I can feel the same athmosphere in Mosaic Mysteries.
It is a real pleasure to see these beautiful scenaries appear as you progress in the game.
The puzzle pieces bring to mind broken stained glass, the way they have been manually cut out is so interesting and even sometimes a bit surprising.
I recommend ++ !!

I love games like the Glass Masquerade series. Mosaic Mysteries has incredible art, piece layout designs and an interesting spotlight mechanic that works very well. The 5 piece shuffle system is not as nice as other similar games, but it works well enough. The 24 designs are all unique and fun.
Where the game lacks is the tone. The pure black background and the dark somber music don't not match well with the bright colorful art. Luckily you can mute the music. I hope if they make another one, it will hit the more light hearted vibe to match the beautiful artwork.
Overall still an incredible mosaic puzzle game with a good overall design. I hope this becomes a series. :)
