A lovely top-down shooting co-op game that is very reminiscent of the Gauntlet Legends (and probably other games in the Gauntlet series that I have not played)

Very fun Roguelite, the game is playable both in multiplayer (remote play together works well) and solo (for more challenge). The graphics are well-done and each level has its own vibes. Shout-out for the voices and the intro of boss (even better made than in Borderlands).

A very pleasant game, with an immersive, well-crafted atmosphere. As enjoyable as a single player as with friends. I like that each playable character comes with its own weapon. That, alongside the variety of enemies makes it really fun to play for an extended period of time. Characters start a little weak but the more you play, the more crystals you earn. Those can be converted in the shop to improve their abilities. Icing on the cake: there is a little touch of humor here and there :) For such a cheap price, I recommend 100%!

As a remote play together game, this was incredibly fun for me.
The Pros:
(+) It’s wacky, chaotic, and everything I didn’t know I needed. Think: goblins, power-ups, and general mayhem wrapped in pixelated chaos. (+) Remote Play Together? Works like a charm. No glitches, no lag, just pure fun with friends who can't dodge to save their lives (literally). (+) Graphics are actually solid, if you can spare enough time between the chaos to notice. (+) Progression overload. Store, crystals, characters, you name it. You’ll be swimming in unlocks, and it feels like a never-ending hill. But this could be a bad thing depending on which side of the hill you start rolling the snowball. (+) The game strikes a balance between competitive but friendly. You can laugh at your friend’s failings, get more points, and still feel like you’re progressing with the help of the team. That’s a win, win, win as Michael Scott would say. (+) see the mids, below.
The Mids:
(+/-) The pickups are interesting but lack the 'wow' factor. They don’t exactly make me shout, 'Wow, I need this!' More like, 'Eh, I guess that’s fine.' (+/-) Character upgrades tied to leveling are okay, but I’d love more base stats or upgrades thrown into rooms/crates for variety. (+/-) The game is like a friend who almost makes sense. On the one hand, enemies are color-coded so you know who can hit what (nice!). On the other, I have no idea what the heck I’m buying with these crystals. 'Teleporter?' Sure, but to where? Mars? Another room? The mystery is real. (+/-) Room rewards were a bit 'meh'. We fought mini-bosses/event rooms and got power-ups like '+0.25 range'... barely enough to tickle goblins from a distance. I was hoping for more zany or powerful upgrades. Maybe they get better the farther you go, but we didn’t make it that far yet to confirm.
The Cons:
(-) The first boss is like trying to solo a raid. My friends kept dying, so soloing the boss was brutal. (-) No in-game resolution settings. I play on an ultrawide (5120x1440), and adjusting for Remote Play Together was an adventure. There's no easy way to set custom resolutions, (-) Reloading takes approximately forreeeeevvvverrrr. You’ve got the Sheriff with 6 bullets, and it feels like you’re waiting for your whole life to pass by before you can shoot again. Compared to the Businesswoman’s 30 bullets, it’s tragic. (-) see the mids, above.
Overall:
If you love wacky chaos and don’t mind a few rough edges, this game will keep you and your friends having a great time... just don’t play solo unless you’re a glutton for punishment. That being said, if you need a friend(s) to play with, feel free to find me (: xoxo, Sunshyne

Nice game. While clearly multiplayer oriented, it is enjoyable alone (and even more challenging as there is nobody to revive you at the end). The idea of progressively unlocking new playable characters and their skills makes you always want to start for the umpteenth time a very last game - just to see if you would be able to go futher in the dungeon. Dialogues are fun and the music/sound effects are nice.

Worth the try ! The solo part become insanely hard at the highest difficulties but it's not unbereable (try the viking to ease your path). Multi is fun, often chaotic but it's look voluntary. It's maybe lack a bit of tuning sometime but the devs look really reactive. Overall it's cool, either on solo and multi. Have fun with it :)
