It's a neutral review. It's not my first Voltage otome novel, so I already knew what kind of experience I was going to have :) And my expectations were totally on point in both positive & negative way. [u]Praises[/u]: +all five love interests are appealing and fascinating, I was never bored. So what really matters is that I got that relaxing, lighthearted experience I intended, my main reason to play kinda silly otome. +it's long enough, I've been playing it slowly but for almost half a year :D +No bad endings, very simple & enjoyable read. +pretty art, mc with a face is really appreciated :) +no explicit content, sadly, but anyway even their intimate relationships are presented decently. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3434384567 [u]Complaints[/u]: --my main complaint with Voltage remains— it's sloppy localization:( too many typos and mistakes again, with their high price why can't they hire a good editor is beyond me T_T For example, in all routes instead of 'Infatuated Ending' we get 'Infratuated' one :D --MC is unbearable again (－^ლ) 28 years old, an adult but the decisions she sometimes makes are infuriating. For example, the main idea here is about the marriage of convenience where they slowly start developing feelings to each other. At first I was so excited as she felt very relatable with all that constant nagging around me that it's a must to marry and fulfill my female debt I have in this country—I have to bear a child(－^ლ) All her reasoning was so logical and perfect BUT when it actually happens after she was drunk at the party, she suddenly forgets about all her previous problems and demands a divorce O_o Every time similar nonsense happened in the story, it was too obvious such 'empty drama' is just necessary to proceed with the plot:( But I'd really like to see smth more well-thought-out story-wise. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3420542179 --It's so sad not all the original content was added to the steam version:( I was astonished to learn there's actually Toga's route, so why is that wonderful man just missed out :( --I wish the official names for their otome were in English :( It's impossible to select the game in my screenshot collection, for example. Very inconvenient! Right now the game has 50% discount. Luckily, it often happens with their otome, so if you enjoy the genre in its stereotypical realization, it's really worth purchasing, esp during the sales.
