[h1][b]Paying DLC for a 100 Christmas Cats, a Free and OK Hidden Cats Game[/b][/h1] [b]What this game is:[/b] A hidden cats game, like many many others found on Steam. [b]How does it work?[/b] It is a basic point and click game. You have to find all the 100 cats hidden in a big colour picture. This DLC adds a second level with another 100 cats. [b]How does it perform?[/b] Very easy to play. You click on each cat you find and it will vanish. When you have made all cats disappear, you win. [b]The good points:[/b] Simple and relaxing game. The art is good, music is OK. Getting the Achievements is easy and there are no apparent bugs. Takes around 280 MB on your HD, and will run on a 10 years old PC. Can be played on the Steam Deck, but with limitations. [b]The bad points:[/b] The game is a bit short and this DLC is supposed to help you on this, however it doesn't that much add to the playing time. You can expect more than an hour of play depending on your cats recognition skills. Control are fudgy, for instance you may click 10 times on a cat before the game registers you clicked on it. Some cats are only shown as a very small part of the animal (a small tail for example), if you have weak eyes, you will suffer... There are no Steam Trading Cards drops, in order to get Steam Trading Cards you have to buy them. STEAM DECK: the game can be played on the Steam Deck BUT as the game does not support naturally a controller setup you will have to try tweaking the settings in order to find a way to zoom. Alternatively, you could plug the Steam Deck on a large screen IF you have the Dock that is sold apart from it (HDMI or DP cable required). [b]My take on this:[/b] If you like a cheap and relaxing games, this is it. The game is free and will provide you with less than an hour of gaming. You can increase the gaming oppoortunities by buying this DLC that will double the number of cats by adding a second level. Recommended for those that like this type of game and/or are Achievements Seekers. Otherwise, all you find is a clone of various similar cats/hidden object games on Steam. Nothing special.
