First of all, give that big green demo button a push, it's like a couple hundred megabyte download and if you do plan on buying the game the save is compatible with the main title. Demo being one of the main reasons I ended up buying this, despite not usually going for games like this, it just hit all the sweet spots, juicy interactions really carry the gameplay loop--heck, even just menu interactions feel "juicy" -- and no, I'm not trying to be cute with fruity puns. I guess this is a bit like pinball? But you're a bat, blasting through levels bouncing around, as more & more hazards, enemies & complications start being introduced, needing keys to open doors, using portals to get flung wherever, hitting cobwebs taking your momentum away or fungal bounce pads sending you ricocheting all over the place, blasting through wraiths & using spells to eliminate ghosts, as you work toward getting out of the tower. There's skill trees with passives like getting more health, energy, having stuff like chance of energy creating blasts and more-- Active spells, even buying new bats with different starting HP/energy and brand new passives. For the Entropy Zero fans there are some fun references, you can get an Aiden bat with a passive of "zero resistance" when blasting through enemies, even gaining momentum, or a Wilson bat who can open any door without needing a key first. Music is also very groovy, fun & whimsical and deserves mention, the pixel art is sharp & nice, there's a small story so far broken between the main areas it seems, lots of unlocks & just an easy to pickup & play title. Just simple fun, juicy, blasting away as a bat bouncing around.

This game is awesome. It's kind of positively reminiscent of SteamWorld Heist, in the sense of planning out angles and ricochets, but also unique enough to be its own thing. There are plenty of unlockables, skill trees, 17 bats and like 14 spells, and what appears to be a fair amount of replayability. Highly recommend.

Played the demo some time ago and had a blast breaking all of the furniture and items. Now I can do that in the full game too. The story is neat and I was expecting the classic "Evil Wizard that's Bent on Destruction" but the very last level proved me wrong. Also love the homage to Entropy Zero 2. Love Wilson bat and his skeleton key trait
