This Soundtrack is one of the best ones I've ever heard. Great for listening both in and out of game.The use of real and electronic instruments adds a lot of variety to the game, without being overwhelming. Update: Yes, this soundtrack is outdated. I hear that there is a plan in the works to update the soundtrack with all the post-official release tracks. So, I would be on the look out for that.

Starbound is just a great game in my opinion. I loved the music it featured, so I bought this. And what a masterpiece of a soundtrack it is. Base price of '0.79€' is extremely low indeed. Especially since there is '64' individual tracks. That is over '6' hours of content. Truly insane. Well, so much stuff and for such a little price. The soundtrack is honestly worth a purchase. I mean, what a steal, what a great deal, neat. There is literally nothing negative to be said. A huge chunk of these songs was pure gold. Most of them are actually great for relaxing. There's even a bunch of experimental stuff. Bonus music that wasn't in the base game. Just a whole heck of a collection. It's dope. And I have to give it a huge positive review.

It is 2:00 AM right now. I can't fucking sleep. I have a mug of tea, this beautiful soundtrack, and a dream. A dream to take out a chunk of Driver's Ed. Starbound OST give me strength. If it grants me the power to do Driver's Ed, then surely it must be worth 10 bucks. Wait what? It's ONE DOLLAR?! AND IT'S ON SALE FOR FIFTY FUCKING CENTS?! This is a fucking steal. Over 50 songs for the price of a Mucho Mango Arizona. If you don't get this, I have no idea what the fuck is wrong with you. The game might be in a bit of a mess due to Chucklefish giving no shits whatsoever, but whatever Curtis Schweitzer smoked while making this masterpiece has turned it into quite possibly my favorite soundtrack of all time.

The soundtrack is definitely one of the best parts of Starbound. If only Chucklefish cared as much about supporting their game as Curtis cared about this soundtrack.

Find me a better soundtrack near this price, I dare you. For 0.39€ on sale, you're getting over 6 hours of orchestral music. There are no looped samples, no variations of the same melody. Some of these tracks are over 10 minutes long. "Mira" is 20, it's insane. Each is unique, but at the same time, they all share something. Fits the game very well, it's unlike anything I have listened to. Do yourself a favor and buy it.

The Starbound sound track is really amazing, it includes rhythmic soothing patterns in most of the music. Other than that, it includes a wide variety of music, which I enjoyed immensely. It also includes some expieriemental more electronic tracks, but those aren't as well made. If you like more synthy, piano, and strings, I definitely reccomend this soundtrack. Expierimental - 7/10 Others (Including tracks 43 and 44) - 9/10 I don't know about other computers but for mine I had trouble finding it. Using this method, I was able to fix this problem. If you right click Starbound in your library, and hit properties, it will bring you to a window with multiple tabs. Go to the DLC tab, and then uncheck install and recheck it. It should say theres an update. If you download that, it will work. If that doesn't, go to the search window and go to programfiles X86, Steam, SteamApps, common, and then Starbound. In there there should be a folder titled Starbound Complete OST. All the tracks should be there. If it doesn't work, comment and I may be able to help.

If you need to open it go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\Starbound Complete OST If you are on a 32-bit version of Windows, ignore the (x86) part of the path. This soundtrack is amazing. :3

In particular 1, 3, 5 and 6 that are prominent in-game: 1. Body Electric (Electric Vaults) 2. Forest 3. Forest Battle 2 (Heart of the Ruin) 4. Home (Concept) 5. Jupiter (Player Space Stations) 6. The Eternal Tide (cinematic) 7. Title Theme Concept - Old (loops or variants of original tracks) 8. Atlas 8-bit 9. Gravitational Collapse Loop 10. Ultramarine Loop (not in game assets) 11. Forest Battle 1 12. Forest Exploration 1 13. Forest Exploration 2 14. Ocean Exploration 1 15. Tentacle Exploration 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please consider making these changes: (a) Add the missing tracks, most particularly 1~7; this reduces tendency of players pirating these tracks from elsewhere. (b) Remove the "Experimental OST" heading, as these tracks have long been incorporated into the game. (c) Remove the soundtrack "Glitch", as it duplicates "Lava Exploration 1". Of lesser concern: (d) If the order of tracks is important, would suggest moving "The Apex" up till "Stellar Acclimation" immediately after "Vast Immortal Suns" (thus becoming new 22~37), followed by "Jupiter", "Home", "Title Theme Concept" and "The Eternal Tide", followed by all former experimental tracks in alphabetical order (including the missing tracks noted above), followed by the four 1.4 new tracks. (e) Rename all the formerly experimental tracks to represent their roles in-game better. For example, "Crystal Battle 1" to "Tentacle Planet" or similar. This may be best done with consensus from the fan communities. Thanks ~

Decided to play starbound in real life. Bought this soundtrack. Started digging a moat in an empty lot to build my house. Police showed up, told me to stop. Told them "Do not fear, natives! I will protect you!" Went to Jail 5/5
