A simple, but at the same time stylish visual style, a good plot. totally worth a try (especially for fans of visual novels)

The art style and music are amazing, and from what I've experienced, the story is deep and told from a unique perspective. The biggest issue is definitely the poor English translation and UI, there is definitely more that was intended to be understood than what I got, but it is still a quality VN worth its price.

The game is alright and the pixelated graphics is stellar, but my enjoyment of it has been hampered by the poor English translation. For the asking price (especially during a sale), I couldn't really complain much.

I know a lot of the complaints for this game is the poor translation at times, easy plot to guess, and repetitive gameplay, but honestly I loved it. First, the visuals are amazing as well as the music. I always love games that really only involve one shade of a color. Getting onto the actual gameplay, I'll be honest, I read the reviews so I knew what was going to happen. I know that causes bias and ruins games for some, but I always want to know what I'm getting myself into, especially when it comes to games and books. Still, I didn't know the full story. This game did a really job at making me feel conflicted with myself and the character. I would never be a judge nor would I be good at it because I also judge by my own principles. And frankly, I acknowledge that I myself am not a good person. Nothing to the level of the girl, mind you. But it's a lot easier to understand where she's coming from when you hold similar views and share somewhat similar experiences. I liked the person on the radio, really felt like a nice bit of humor. Especially with the
cat and the Netflix playing.
Spoilers:
I really enjoyed the separate events, and some of them I wanted to know the whole truth. I was really focused on Chloe because I felt it was such an unfortunate situation for the both of them. And when Hannah was in university, the whole deal with Simon just confirmed it for me that he did it to Chloe. Again, not sure if it's the truth, but it felt really obvious there. Then when Judge Hannah mentioned the player enjoying using the sledgehammer, it reminded me of that event. I chose in the order of events, innocent, guilty, innocent, guilty, and then innocent.
Honestly, the game hurt to play to see a girl grow up with such tragedies. Again, I don't believe myself to be a good person, so I some of her actions I understand the reasoning behind it. Overall, great game. Yes, there are translation errors, but it should be played regardless for what it offers. And while it's easy to guess the plot, the visuals, music, and story are still really good. Props to the developers!

8.5/10 English translation is kinda wonky, and at times hard to read, otherwise; amazing short story, especially for the price given some stories that are objectively worse ask for more. Not much i can add that others haven't said already.

“Outside the Door” is a game that, despite its short duration, captures you from the very first minutes. Its plot from the very first pages plunges you into a world full of moral dilemmas and unexpected situations in which the protagonist finds himself. In just a couple of hours you will have time to immerse yourself in a dark, but atmospheric story and experience a whole range of emotions. Graphics are beautiful and pleasant to the eye, here the emphasis is on the atmosphere and dialogs, which are really well worked out. If you have a free evening and you are looking for something unusual for yourself - this game is definitely worth your attention. However, it's worth mentioning that this is more of a kinetic novel, as your choices have almost no effect on anything.

!!SPOILERS!! EN: Without having played the game all the way through, I can assume that the same person comes to me. She probably has some kind of personality disorder. I also dare to assume that the dialogues reflect the realities of what is happening in the world now.(you know), maybe Im just trying to find a deeper meaning where there isnt one. If at first I sympathized with Hannah, then somewhere in the middle of the game it becomes clear that shes not all there.I played on, and as soon as the student guest left, I started to have doubts. Maybe Hanna is me. Maybe Im judging my own life decisions. To make my judgement fair, I was deprived of my memories. That theory makes sense. Or maybe my schizophrenia is getting worse. To sum up, after finishing the game, I realised that I had been right all along. The plot was easy to guess, but thats not a bad thing. At least it doesnt leave you with unanswered questions that will bug you. I liked the game, even if it wasnt amazing. Although this is a debut project, it is done well enough, there are tiny flaws with the text, but they are not fatal, for the end I just want to wish the author good luck with future projects.
