Fun game for kids though very glitchy.

If you are a fan of the series, I think many of you will enjoy this game! It is by no means perfect and could definitely use some polishing, but I didn't personally experience anything that made me Not want to play. As other reviews also stated, it is a major improvement from the previous game. That being said, there are definitely some "bugs" (lol) that I came across, but they really didn't start happening until a little later in the game. There were times where the game wouldn't allow my character to go to a certain area (even if it looks like you can and there are experience pips there), times where my character got stuck in something and I had to restart my checkpoint (at least thankfully I didn't have to restart whole levels), and times where I had to work around the route that was laid out because I straight up could NOT get my character to make the jumps the game wanted me to at times. I also experienced enemies taking FOREVER to spawn in between the last few waves in the Tower Battle Arena; they did eventually spawn in, it just took way longer than necessary. Besides that, there are only a few quality of life changes I would make that I can think of off the top of my head. 1.) The fixed camera angles that happen at random points weren't too detrimental to my gameplay, but it is kind of annoying at times; I prefer how the game is the majority of the time where I can move the camera freely. The fixed camera angles aren't really necessary. 2.) I would definitely add the ability to change keybinds. I was mostly comfortable with how they were set, but having the option to change some of them is always nice. 3.) Adding some more customization would be cool! They're on the right track at least. 4.) The team ups with the other heroes could really use some improvements; I hardly used them at all because they didn't do much and didn't feel necessary in combat. 5.) I'd love to see more building on the open world; you can somewhat explore, but not really. You're pretty limited to Mari's house and the immediate surroundings. I also wanna see more from CN's point of view! 6.) Last thing I'd adjust would be being able to switch between LB and CN quicker. There were a couple of times where one of them was dangerously low on health and I needed to switch, but nothing would happen for several seconds when holding down to switch and I'd get clapped in combat. Overall though, I had a lot of fun playing this! It was a nice break from some of the other games I'd been playing. I really enjoyed the combat move sets and being able to leap around Paris. The story was interesting and featured many of the characters that we know and love. I'm so glad they were able to use most (if not all) of the original cast. The levels were unique and so much fun to explore! I particularly enjoyed the Bubbler and Lady WiFi levels. I liked the challenge of the final areas in the game (even if I about cried trying to get through all of those rotating platforms worried I was gonna keep falling off over and over again lol). I'm sure the co-op in this game is fun, but there are very few people that I think I could convince to play this with me to test it out. I'm just personally glad to experience this content while we're on basically another mini hiatus for the series. I agree with the other reviews that say not to pay $50 - $60 for the game. It's no Elden Ring, that's for sure! But it is a fun and relatively quick game that I feel is worth playing through at least once if you enjoy Miraculous content! Just do what I did and keep an eye out for when it goes on sale.

It's better than the previous game, Rise of the Sphinx. The gameplay feels smoother and there's no QTEs, but it's still bad. it's bear bones, low effort franchise money cash grabbing for children. It feels like an beta build with all the glitches and hiccups I ran into. The story is about the same written as a normal episode. Still no video setting options. Atleast Chloe isn't the bad guy in this one.

Played the game and all I have to say is, it is not worth $50 or $60, if you wanna try the game yourself try and get it on a huge sale, like now. First let me get my pros about the game out of the way since it’s not that much, first it is indeed way better than Rise of the Sphinx, never played the game, but I could tell just by looking at playthroughs of that game that I just did not like it. A beat’em up for a Miraculous game is a pretty good idea as that is one of the good things I like about this game, the voice acting is good and the models are pretty good too. I still would like a Miraculous game that would play closer to the Spider-Man games, but a beat’em up is not a bad direction for it. Also, the battle arenas are a good idea too, I did find some enjoyment in those. Now as for the bad, a beat’em is a good idea for a game, IF IT IS POLISHED! This game has so many glitches and bugs in it that are practically unacceptable, it makes me wonder if they had anyone playtest this game at all, there is just so many in here I don’t even want to list them (trying to keep this review short). There is no graphical video settings, as many others stated in there reviews, why was that looked over?! Other than the Battle Arenas, barely anything to do after you beat the game, no side quests, no exploration, no unlockables, no lore exploration, just nothing, knocks the game down a lot. Another big miss for this game that I was really disappointed by was other playable heroes, why was that an afterthought? I love the hero support system, don’t get me wrong, but the developers should have made it to where you can switch out between heroes, ie if I wanna play Rena Rouge, I switch from Ladybug to her and Ladybug is now on the support wheel and Rena Rouge is playable, or Vesperia, or Carapace, or Vipereon, you get what I’m saying. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ladybug and Cat Noir, but the Miraculous TV shows clearly shows that it’s not just about those two, it’s about every Miraculous holder in this show, so why not have the four extra heroes in here be playable, such a HUGE missed opportunity there. The arenas feel very barren and empty too, the scaling of buildings is fine, but the worlds are empty, I wanna see enemies flipping cars and having people run to safety as I as one of the heroes engage in battle, I wanna here screams for help, should I even mention how there is barely any music in this game during platforming or progression areas, I don’t feel immersed in the world because of all that missing in this game. Overall, I tried giving this game a chance and looking at the pros it had, but every time I did, something in it had to go and ruin my positive outlook on it. If a future Miraculous game is being considered or developed, please do what SEGA did, listen to reviews/fans, we clearly stated what kind of Miraculous game we would all like to have and buy, and that is one like the Insomniac Spider-Man games, that or a polished, rewarding, and engaging beat’em up. It’s on the right track, but still has a loooooooong way to go. For now, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a Miraculous Fan and or have a love for the show like me, and if you consider buying it, wait for it to be on a huge sale.

My daughter loves the franchise so I thought it would be fun for us to play a co-op game together with characters that she knows and enjoys. That's about where the novelty ends. I don't know the first thing about game development however I can't help but think this got slapped together in a couple of weeks and then was shipped out and available to purchase. As many have stated, there are no video settings so you get what you get; take it or leave it as far as quality. My biggest complaint has to be that there is not a great indicator for when your character takes damage. So I would spend my time playing beat 'em up and health manager because if either characters fall, you will restart at your last checkpoint. For a children's game, not giving the chance to help your co-op player in this generation is just poor. Do yourself a favor, don't consider it. I bought on sale and we couldn't play past an hour before the game really showed you all it has to offer. Definitely better games that a parent and their child could play together.
