I love these old fashion games from the 90s and I totally recommend to anyone who loves the Original Jurassic Park Movie.

PROS: Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection is basically what it says in the title, a collection of seven Jurassic Park titles released for the NES, SNES, Game Boy, & Genesis/Mega Drive. As such, this collection is primarily for those who played these titles back in the day, those curious on the older games, those looking at preserving these older titles, or a combination of all three. They all play relatively smooth, though some moments of slowdown pop in from time to time. The addition of certain features, such as a map & most importantly the ability to save, can be crucial for some of the later games.
CONS: For a collection titled as the classic games, there sure are a lot of titles missing. This is understandable due to other rights holders or difficulty emulating certain hardware, but it's a shame the collection is missing some of the more odd titles the franchise put out as well as the arcade games. The real issue is that a lot of these games just don't hold up very well. The SNES games in particular cross back & forth between poorly designed & aged to absurdly difficult for the worst reasons. If it wasn't for the addition of saving that this collection added, some of these titles become exhausting slogs to complete. For a final petty one, the portraits were removed in the first SNES title.
ACHIEVEMENTS: Another list challenging one's skill with older titles of the 8-bit & 16-bit variety. Every achievement thankfully tells you how to unlock it in the title alone. Each game has two achievements to complete & all of them will be unlocked by beating the game, save for one. Jurassic Park Part 2 16-BIT: Complete Hard Mode requires the player to beat the second SNES title on hard mode. This, like the other SNES game, is a very exhausting premise due to how absolutely punishing the game can be. The kicker drops that unless one changes the difficulty before booting up the game, this will require a complete second playthrough. There is no shame in looking up maps & using the infinite continues code for how brutal the SNES titles can be.
FINAL: Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection is a bit difficult to rate. On the one hand, the titles aren't the best. On the other hand, simply having them available to purchase in working condition for anyone to play, alongside the better titles & nostalgic vibes makes me incredibly happy this collection exists. Though it lacks in features & extra content, I'd say I'd have to give it a weak recommend for those looking at game preservation & a few games of dinosaur fun.

This game collection might not be for everyone, it took myself some time to like it.
Quite a lot of the collection is just ports of the same game to different platforms, and some don't really explain how to play so you may just wander around unknowing what to do.
But they all have a certain charm to them while playing, so if you are a fan of the JP franchise or like old retro games then I would recommend it.
