A few minutes into playing it completely crashes my high-end computer to the point I have to do a hard reset of my pc. This happened 3 times.

I have to assume that either the issues I encountered are either fairly new or fairly uncommon, because I just can't understand how players could rate the game so highly if their experience had been anywhere near as buggy as mine. I gave the game a solid hour or so. • The game saves disappear. >The first school I made, the uniforms and images didn't appear. I attempted to save and reload, and the save file had disappeared. There's several posts in the tech forums about save data issues at various points in time, so I'm uncertain if they've been fixed and reintroduced, are of a new nature, or there's some other factor at play... because the inability to consistently save or load is a critical issue for a game of this nature. • When the game does save, it may fail to load the state properly. >Reloading saves caused a black screen one time, broke the rooms internally another, and messed with the tutorial progress on a third. I experienced issues every other time I attempted to reload the game. • The text is often unclear, and sometimes not legible. >The dialogue box has incredibly small text for the speaker name for some reason. >There's many strange typos, but they're grammar rather than spelling. Maybe it's to circumvent a code thing, or a translation, but it doesn't help with clarity. >Many of the tutorials do not explain themselves sufficiently to actually guide the player. You have to start a trial early on to raise the rank of your students. However, it never tells you if there's a reason to keep them around for rank 2. And, if you don't have any rank 2 classes built, the students literally won't do anything. Worth noting that, at this point in the tutorial, you have no rank 2 classes built. It then asks you to build a mana pool... but it doesn't tell you how, or if you need to research it or how far back. These are things a wiki would help with... but there's no guides anywhere. There's also some strange choices, like every classroom having 3-5 doors on it in fixed places with no ability to remove or block them causing students to walk all over the place if you don't isolate door with a hallway. But that's not really a place the focus should be at this time. Early Access is one thing, but this sort of experience is entirely another. And it's a bummer, because there's some incredible ideas in here. The premise is hard to find, and it's one I particularly enjoy. All the pieces are great ideas, and if they worked the game would probably be in my top ten. Unfortunately, it's just been *such* a struggle to play that I can't even get to anything rewarding.

I got to the point where I have max gold but not enough Glyphites to build and conduct Golemancy lessons. Alchemy lessons are not going on because students prioritize other subjects. Resources are very unbalanced. I really didn't mind restarting from previous saves because auto/manual save bugged out or the random blackouts from switching levels too fast or to destroy and rebuild a room after every load to fix the mana switch but i do mind sitting and doing nothing while waiting for students to pick up Alchemy lessons. This game still has lots of technical bugs that's shouldn't appear in Early Access release.
