This is very engaging for an idle game and perfectly designed to be a side activity to normal things done on the desktop. Could definitely benefit from being able to move or resize the game via mouse, the pixel controls in the settings aren't that intuitive. Past that, I love every minute of this game you guys have created. Hope to see this catch on soon. :)

great akf idle game. i honestly leave it on so my computer doesnt shut down. nevertheless, it is fun, cute, and cozy, and no penalties, even if you dont have the seed planter right away. different maps add a nice change of scenery, all the robots have a beautiful unique design to them, and i like to pop my giant pumpkins in between programs. the game is as hands on/off as you want it to be. highly recommend for anyone that likes to have a little farm on their desktop.

Okay this is not a bad game I enjoy it a lot but there are many small things I wish the devs would change. 1.A day and night cycle 2.Be able to change the direction/facing of objects you place 3.the price is a little high for a simple game like this 4.Be able to upgrade the things you buy Like make them faster and such like level 1 level 2 ect. 5.AND BE ABLE TO INTERACT WITH THE FARM MORE THAN JUST PLANTING AND BUYING CAUSE SOMETIMES THE BOTS DON'T DO WHAT I WANT THEM TO. other than those few things Good game for background work 8.5/10

big idle fan here. love the game, but it gets old fast. The lack of progression in terms of items and difficulty makes it feel a bit repetitive. Upgrading machines is cool, but it's annoying that the appearance only changes at max. Would love more QoL improvements. Feels a bit outdated, tbh. New maps are nice, but the game needs more depth. Still, fun concept overall! Keep it up :)👍🎮

I’ve played this game for 140+ hours. At first glance, it seemed like a chill, slow-paced experience… but my aut1st1c brain said, “Nah, we’re getting all the achievements, upgrading everything, making it aesthetic, and setting the perfect order.” And yeah, it’s true... Rusty is doing everything except retiring. I’d give it a 9.5 once you grind and understand all the mechanics. It’s a great game to have running in the background. But now that I’ve completed almost everything, I just want to leave it running… forever… until I die (might delete later). Final score? 10/10 if you want it. It’s worth it. Don’t hesitate, buy it and play at whatever speed you like!

Cute little game to distract you while you work or play something else. UI is quite limited though, game did not tell me that it is not possible to switch to vertical mode after I was already several hours in the game, not possible to drag the game directly on the space on the screen you want, view modes are also limited for zooming, menu hovers over the farm so you are unable to see certain places when it is open.

Rusty's Retirement is an AFK-able farm game that just sits on your desktop and runs while you do other things. This game requires little attention as once you start building up your farm, you can buy bots to help automate the process of watering and harvesting your crops. The only thing you'll have to do is plant them manually until you unlock an NPC later on that will do it for you. For what it is, it's pretty fun. Figuring out how to best layout your farm to get the most yield is a fun process. I will admit though, there are some achievements in this game that are straight up annoying to get. (I'm looking at you farm animals.) Would recommend if you like chill farm games, but also like afkable games.

This is the only game that is getting me through working on my thesis right now. I leave it on the bottom of my screen as I write and research feverishly until I decide enough is enough and I take a break by checking on my farm. This game is the last of my sanity. My only request is that one day there is the ability to fish somehow. Because I love fishing. I also might be going crazy.
