This game is not worth the money even on sale. Considering Xcom 1-2 and Wotc can be bought on sale for like 5 bucks. This game is incredibly basic, like a demo that they decided to stretch out. There is a huge focus on stealth which is pretty fun at first but as you progress through the game the enemies all get the craziest health and grenades that you won't be able to set up clever ambushes that will actually kill the guys before you break stealth. There isn't even a melee function, a reward for sneaking close enough to the bad guys to dispatch them without gunfire. Rebel Cops has these features and is a far superior game and can also be picked up on sale for like 3 bucks. I was pretty excited about this title for about 4 years because I saw it on Epic game store but it was literally never on sale. It finally came to steam and was on sale but I kind of wish I had passed on this one. If you want a fun fully fledged tactics game then Xcom, Phoenix Point, Gears Tactics, Rebel Cops, and Show Gunners are much better. I hear that Mutant Year Zero is also good but I haven't played that one.

I really want to like this game. I really do. I'm glad it was on sale cheap.
I'll give it a thumbs up, because it isn't a bad game just not something I like.
The graphics and sound track are great. Much better than a lot of the top rated games.
The control system is...different. You have an isometric view, but the angle is very low which adds to the suspense and challenge of the game. Takes some getting used to unlike something like JA3.
The story line...I couldn't get into the game enough to learn the story in depth. It does have a good start.
The balance doesn't seem to be there even on the easy setting I used after twice trying the normal setting.
The enemy weapon range seems to be much longer than yours. They can shoot you, but you can't shoot them.
I wanted to switch to turn-based (ambush), but the game only lets you switch when the game wants you to.
A single shot, silenced weapon is only good for the trash bin unless it is a one-shot kill otherwise, you are faced with reloading-move, move-reload or reload-shoot; Can't move and shoot.
Over all, 5 out of 10 as much as I want to give it a higher rating.
