very good game, keeps on crashing every time I went to get an animal out of the van causing me to loose my progress. Could be my pc bugging due to the reviews. and also incredibly laggy aswell but goes back to normal over time. hope this helps :D

Sure. Not what I expected, but it is good, and the addition of world modifiers is very nice. On the most basic level, however, you can only operate your shelter in one way. For example the building wing, with 2 rooms and an outside area for dogs, and the other side with 2 rooms and outside area for cats. No changing room designations to be an all cat or all dog shelter, and if I do care for only cats or only dogs, then a great deal of the shelter space is unusable. Still fun though

I love this game. I can't wait for the upcoming update in July. I hope that they add where you can take an animal back to the shelter with you when you go to feed the animals in the park, as long as you have room at your shelter. I also hope that they add all types of farm animals with the horses DLC.

Honestly I'm addicted. I've always loved animals and this game is really fulfilling for me lol. Its fun, and difficult at the same time, but there are settings you can adjust for the difficulty. I'm having a blast. 10/10

Animal Shelter 2 is a really lovely experience, especially for anyone who cares about animals. As someone who loves animals and even fosters them in real life, I went into this game expecting to enjoy it and I absolutely did. The core gameplay is very satisfying. Taking care of the animals, helping them recover, and eventually seeing them get adopted is genuinely touching. It gives you that warm feeling like your effort actually matters, and the adoption moments are easily the highlight of the game. That said, the game can be a bit overwhelming at the start. I wish there was more guidance or a proper tutorial, especially when it comes to systems like the vet DLC. At times, it feels like you’re just dropped into the game without much explanation, which can make the early hours confusing. Still, once you get used to it, it becomes a really enjoyable and relaxing simulation. Despite the rough onboarding, the emotional payoff of caring for the animals keeps you invested. Overall, a heartfelt and rewarding game that animal lovers will probably appreciate just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve at the beginning.

The game is very buggy, especially when playing co op. my gf can't schedule adoptions sometimes. The game constantly crashes. Sometimes when she tries to go on certain missions like feeding animals at the park or rescue missions, she gets stuck in the air after entering the van then drops back into our shelter when the game is supposed to put here at the mission location. Sometimes the customers are already busy when neither me or my gf has spoken to them yet, so they get stuck in a situation where we cant interact with them. Recently we've had a customer keep coming in for a pet we don't have any record of. And personally (especially when it comes to the medical task) we believe the game should have more info on certain task. Overall we enjoy the game, when there's no issues lol. really enjoyable
