A bit of a slow burn but one I found to be quite unique and worth reading. The art and OST in particular are fantastic. Shame this VN appears to have been criminally overlooked.

8.5\10.
Sona-Nyl is my 3rd attempt in "What a Beautiful" series. Previous two were Sekien no Inganock and Hikari no Valusia, and in both of them I was attracted by visuals(and Liar-soft visuals are probably my favorite in vn industry) but just couldn't stand the style of the text, and here I actually had the same expirience. 1-3 chapters were hard to read, with repetitious hyperemotional text, romance theme which I usually don't like much and setting that deceived my expectations, because I was looking for steampunk. But starting from the 4th chapter things changed, and I found myself hooked in the story: the text, while remaining the same, started to get exciting, the setting started to get appealing and even the romance was enjoyable to read.
This is an "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" style vn, and overall I can describe it as "Beatiful". Beatiful text, beatiful visuals, beatiful music. Beatiful sad story. Now I'm looking forward to read the other entries of the series, including previously dropped Inganock and Valusia.
